Yeah, maybe lower in your country but not mine. According to some of the preorder pricing at our local toyshops, this cost about SGD $65 after conversion & everything else.

That watch thing is just silly, it didn't work in the 80's and still doesn't work now. The others look great except for the silly mouse mobile.

Chrono not Choro.

The fascination with Choro escapes me. What is so great about this thing? Music Label Soundwave makes sense, he was a tape player and now he has been modified to an MP3 player that uses similar tape deck functions. Then we had ipod convoy, I let it pass but it seemed ludicrous, although a G1 prime is never a bad thing. Don't get me started on how awful and expensive rumble and frenzy were.
Now we have Choro, who I don't even recognize from fiction, who is this watch thing with a terrible transformation.
Can someone please explain this thing to me?

Like i said in some other post. They should really make an encore Blaster so that the cassettes of his would go somewhere.
Bgrngod
Uh… why do they have Legends Bumblebee pictured with Brawn and Beachcomber instead of Cliffjumper?

I got a funny feeling it's gonna be a loooong wait till ROTF comes out….
Golden Age
The Alternity line seems to have A LOT of diecast, unlike MP Grimlock.

Disappointingly still using Hasbro Dinobot images…

I cannot wait for alternity!

The retail price of Alternity is actually lower than Binaltech (4,725 vs 5,250 yen).

Now I truly wonder how much DIECAST is on Alternity project.
They'd better give us MORE after downgrading the size & increasing the SRP.

The text for Chrono Label mentions that Seahope, a company which designs funky artistic watches, had a hand in the toy's design.

I'm starting to see why the retail price is so high. Although I won't be getting one, I wish they'd made the design more interesting and less blocky and old fashioned looking. A more complex and modern design would have gone some way in persuading more people to buy one but it would probably be a problem fitting in all the electronics.

1 months to go for the Alternity!

Appears to be the Universe version. The purple bits are visible.

It seems TakaraTomy is adopting the late G1 style "Transformers" typeface for the new series products (Alternity, Disney and Chrono Label).
And yes, GT-R Convoy is a f*ckin' beauty, especially the Vibrant Red version. I love how the packaging really shows off the figure inside with the huge wraparound window. The box looks almost like it's entirely plastic, although I highly doubt it.
Robogeek28
Is that Henkei Dinobot or Universe? The picture is so small I can't make out his colors.
Rockdown
That alternity prime is a thing of beauty. I am tearing my hair out waiting for it to be released. It's like waiting for babies.
