Online Japanese vendor Red Mercury has posted a pre-order page for a previously unannounced Marvel Crossover solicitation from Hasbro. Per the pre-order page, Hasbro will be releasing a pack that contains new Spider-Man and Iron Man figures. The new Spider-Man figure is a helicopter while the new Iron Man figure is once again an airplane. The two vehicle modes can then combine to form an even larger aerial machine! Red Mecury lists the item as being in-stock in June. However, no information regarding this figure pack has yet to be released from Hasbro.

Still the question stands. Did it really work?

Gerwalk mode is great, loving the individual bots, probably gonna have to pass though what with ROTF and what not taking up the bill. My brother'll probably pick up a set though.

He meant the comics. Plenty of GI Joe vs Transformers crossovers.

Did it really work? AFAIK it hasn't been made, unless you count the unproduced G2 APV and Energon Snowcat.

You wanna know what's REALLY dumb? No GI Joe/Transformers crossover toys… the only crossover that actually WORKED.
And HASBRO's doing it all… guilt by association. Please don't hate me because I dissed your pretty plastic waste of space.

I think they both look great, more for me…

Ahhh, one of my kitbash prayers has been answered!!! YES!
so bought.

The Ironman looks a bit to square to me – they have also used some joint designs i've had problems with on other Crossovers in the past.
Spider-Man is vanilla.
Spider-Man's copter mode is Ok but not that exciting.
Ironman's jet mode is OK – bit World War II jet looking.
I hope the combined mode is Mistransformed as the cabin head on the combined robot mode is very poor – it would almost be better if they could just wear each other as backpacks or something.
Overall the colors let it down a bit and the design is not going to fly off the shelves but I've seen worse – I'll get it if I can find it cheap enough.

I dont even see how this works, all I see is the cockpit of the helicopter on the combined aircraft. I think the odd looking helicopter ruins it for me.

LOL, Transformers Marvel Combiners FTW!!
airfox
You're right!
Also, your post made me remember that the MarvelTF Spidey I have is the black version, so I guess having and red and blue combiner version isn't so bad.

tformers.com updated with high res shots, they are both separately kick azz, together they are…. a whole lot better than Jet-fire/storm. I want these! Spidey looks great as does Iron Man. Spectacular Awesome.
Vangelus
Should've been Iron Spidey!
Neat idea though, need to see some better shots.

Gotta remember that combiners are a bit riskier. Using the most popular characters is the best way to do it the first time.
Please stop saying dumb things. One has nothing to do with the other.
Spiderus Prime
Spidey and Iron Combiner?
still waiting for Crossover Nightcrawler and a female charather too.
BlueAngel_Bolt
Soo these things combined.. would that make iron spiderman?
haha
these are so mine!
EDIT: Does anyone besides me think that War Machine and Black Suit Spidey would have been cooler?
I mean seriously, gun-metal grey with black!
*hopes for repaints down the road*
flamingunicron
very interesting. Might be worth a pick up.

I think it looks decent enough. With better pictures, I guess it could be better.
I add my post to those saying "WTF Hasbro?! Why not Iron Spider-man colors?"
I'm guessing these are Marvel Crossover's answer to the Millennium Falcon from SWTF, so I'd say they're packaged together in a box.
If it's a trend, I'm also guessing we should be expecting a transforming Galactus by 2010.
Dude! Have you seen what Mattel considers "transforming" toys?

its weird, i probably wouldnt buy it, but id like to see good pictures of it

I like the Ironman one, but I'm a littl disappointed Spidey isn't in iron spidey colors.
And I for one am all over the smaller figs, between Motion Revive Series from bandai japan, Hasbro's GI Joe, fury files, x-men origins, and Wolverine and the x-men, I'll have all the figures I've ever wanted without having my entire room eaten up by space and displays. It's already allowed me to scale back and actually start building the ironman armory in a detailed manner.
