"100 bucks Rollbar won't be in the movie." I'll take that bet Bass XO
I'm starting to think this is Optimus Prime with another alternate mode. My best friend said after the last movie that our concept of Transformers is limited to the vast possibilities of what the Transformer concept could be. The transformers can take any scan they use and transform into it provided no mass-size-space shifting takes place. Just like the protoforms did into their main alt modes and Bumblebee did upgrade once, but now on a grander scale. We are so used to Transformers being limited to one alternate form as with the toy. So we might not see triple-changers in the movie, but we could see Optimus transform into a Kenworth Semi Tractor and a Delivery truck and a Fire Department 25th Anniversary Inferno. Just so hasbro can make more toys for the different modes of each of the characters, with totally different names, to make more money. Along with keeping this idea of infinite-formers (triple-changers) hidden from the public.
Even tho the movie may try to keep us on our toes of guessing who is who. "Robots in disguise". Most likely they will keep to their main alternate modes during mass convoy transits.
Even tho they said the first movie was to have no mass-size-space shifting taking place. They forgot one huge into small detail. Doesn't the All-spark do exactly that?

100 bucks Rollbar won't be in the movie.

50bucks says Rollbar will sound(voice actor)like he is from Texas.

wow, i never realized how similar he looked to prime! that's kinda cool
Sam’s_Bee
Nice looking and I too mistook the photo on the front page for a cake box Must start saving the pennies.

Hey, you know what, you're right. Colours are pretty close too. But there's no way a second-rate scout-class figure like this guy could pull off the name Overlord.
Underlord, maybe. For some reason that sounds like a joke, but I don't get it.
Kenucme
Funny thing when I first spotted the picture. The front page thumbnail of the package looked like a Betty Crocker cake mix box to me.
Other than that, Rollbar looks good to me. Maybe somebody already mentioned it, but the chest speaks more of Overlord than of Prime.
SentinelPrime
Wow…final product looks great! Good details, good articulation, everything is nice and in-proportion, looks serious, not cheesy, good colors….SOLD!
Sometimes a scout will come along and surprise with win. I like this guy alot!

Not just the R and B, but also the l's. Looks similar (at least in print), and it does seem intentional.

I was thinking about this yesterday while looking at a row of heavily discounted Animated Supreme Optimus Primes. It really seems like there's little chance of a Supreme Class Omega Supreme, as awesome as that would be.
With Ultimate Bumblebee and Roll Out Optimus, you can't expect all that much bang for the buck. They are just big. Bigger but not better. They only do one of these per year, and they are not aimed at fans, they are aimed squarely at the big Christmas kiddie dollar. Every toy company tries to make that one expensive Christmas must-have toy. I think they are designed to be economical at the discount price point, and highly profitable at full price. Anyone in the collecting game quickly cops on to this, so it's really just economics. It doesn't make a lot of sense to cater such products to collectors who know the game too well to pay full price, and won't be satisfied either way.

It has been stated repeatedly by staff members of major Star Wars collectors that American collectors demanding large and expensive toys but then depending almost entirely upon clearances to buy any large toys is the reason why Hasbro doesn't often create many such toys, like 80s style playsets. Why bother if a sizable portion of your customers don't buy it at full price?
I doubt Hasbro will do very many giant Star Wars vehicles after the AT-TE and Millennium Falcon the way the world economy is going
knockoff
dunno if this has been mentioned, but does it seem coincidental that "Roll Bar" and "Red Bull" share the "R and B" (not rhythm and blues >_>) theme?
just a thought

I liked Vangelus' version of the name better: Ruuhlbehrr. But Rollbar's just as good. And I agree, the packaging is lovely.
thundrwaveprime
looks awsome! a must have for me!

Check out the real Red Bull delivery trucks. Exact same colors for both the truck (blue/grey) and the logo (red/yellow).
shumworld
Vangelus is right, Rollbear does bare a striking resemblance to OP. Right down to having window pecks.
Silent_Magnus
Are you guys sure the logo's supposed to be a Red Bull parody?
The Red Bull logo is two bulls charging at each other. This is just a bull head.
and red is a pretty obvious color for a Bull. Because of the whole myth that they get angry at the sight of it.
I think if the larger figures were packaged in robot mode.
A lot of people probably would never transform them.
SMOG
I know this is petty, and that inappropriate code names are nothing new… but why "Rollbar"??
Roll bars are things that are present on jeeps and offroad vehicles to keep the passengers from getting crushed in event of overturning. Not exactly an appropriate nickname for a delivery truck. I find Hasbro's "keeping their copyright" name uses are getting a bit random and tedious, no?
Secondly… okay, there's definitely something going on here. This guy looks just like a baby Prime. I'm having a hard time believing it's a coincidence. The plot thickens….
Other than that, not a bad figure. the shoulder panel kibble is a little annoying, but otherwise he looks neat.

That's what the glorious clearance of Target is for!
But it'd probably be $100 if they keep costs low. Even at $150, I'd still bite since it could essentially be a definitive toy representation of movie Prime.
