Yeah, I left the rear window clear on mine as well. I considered painting it black and sticking a repro symbol on there, but that can wait until I nab a second one at retail.

seriously though, while i think this guy is ok and will pick up, it says something that i'm WAY more excited about Sideswipe and Bluestreak.

Agreed, Would it have killed Hasbro to do clear windows ALL the way around him?!? Heck if you have to black them out (ala Prowl & Streaker) but at least make him uniform. If the Henkai version of him comes with clear windows I'm buying him! regardless of horrible chroming. One other thing, I understand having a license plate with the state name on it (like later Alternators) but to have the state name BE the License number?!? You look at him in bot mode you'd think his name was Oregon? I HOPE the Repo-Label of him has that little oversight fixed.
Still gonna get him but still a lil effort from Hasbro is all we ask, I mean come on people you're getting lazy and sloppy, Even more so then usual!!

The red looks darker, but I'm guessing that's because of the lightning. Despite it's flaws, it' a must buy

I'm liking Ironhide better the more I see of him. Too bad they didn't go with a darker blue on the windows. It would have matched the clear parts a bit better, and maybe tone down some of the obvious vehicle mode seams as well.
Good chance I'll do some touch-ups, but I'll definitely be getting.

i think i'll wait to see what ridiculous place the put the chrome on Ironhide in the Henkei version before ultimately sticking to hasbro's. but this might be my first alteration, making that face silver. i mean, blue? WTF?

I can see why hasbro went with the blue face now, from the pic above the face and head doesn't stand out as well because of the chest, if the chest was blue and the face silver this wouldn'tbe a problem, it would also mean we could have had painted rims.
