Transformers.com’s fourth update of the day features official pictures of the upcoming 6″ Titanium releases of War Within Grimlock and War Within Prowl, which will be exclusive to Toys ‘R Us stores in the United States this fall. They tell us every year at Botcon… They make it a point and usually have a pie chart. One year we were close to 15% but now with TF: Movie, we are less than 10%.
1 Person buying 200$ of toys < 500 kids buying 20$ worth of toys.

Is good that we are getting this. The bad part they are metal honestly hasbro doesn't have any brains. This line did not sell because of how expensive this were, they could have released them in plastic.

Releases like this–along with fanservice like BotCon support and a heart on Classics Powerglide–drive home just how much Hasbro cares about the fans. As a source of income, yeah, but they still care.
I know it's important to note that we're less than 10% of sales…but in a franchise as large as what Transformers has become, that's a big absolute 10%. And look what it gets us.
Here's hoping Cosmos is next.

Eric – The toys didn't sell worth a crap, I don't think stores were interested anymore, and the engineering of them was ass anyway! I'm pretty sure the upcoming exclusives are only being seen due to enhanced brand interest after the movie.

No knee articulation, a waist smaller than his wrists, and a transformation so poorly designed that they had to make the hands out of rubber just so you wouldn't snap them off as soon as you got it out of the package. It's crap.

Definitely going to get Prowl (altho I'm also amazed at how mistransformed Hasbro's pic is, bizarre); not so sure about Grimlock, but I could be tempted when the time comes. No fussed by SDCC Skywarp; love the character & the comic design, but the toy mold didn't do it for me.
WW Prime & Megs are the only Titaniums I've kept, but I did have all the WW figures at one point, & had no QC probs with them. Hopefully Prowl will be the same.

How anyone can say Jetfire is bad is beyond me. He's relatively well articulated and has a nice proportional sculpt.

Prowl is awesome.
Grimlock… man did they miss the mark. It has the same "I fell on my face" alt mode as big Tit Megatron WWI. I guess the Tit Team can't do Cybertron tanks. Looking at Radicon's here, there are two WWI Grimlocks that nail the alt mode (in two totally different styles no less) done by Dak and Viagra Prime. Shame the Tit men just don't understand the design.
But Prowl rocks.
