2005 Veteran DESTRO let us in on a UK Toy Newsletter that reveals a line called Marvel Transformers Crossovers is coming in two waves in mid-2008. Wave 1 – June 2008, Wave 2 – August 2008. Exactly what this line will have at this point is unknown but the speculation has begun!
Death333
They've stated an actual reason for not doing this. I believe it was something along the lines of avoiding line/brand confusion…. regardless, I agree with you.
Galaxy Convoy
*Sigh* Why can't Hasbro do the one crossover line that actually makes the most sense – Transformers/G.I.Joe!
B-Fox
I want a Brian Michael Bendis.
Transformers from Overrated Writer to Monster Bug to Luke Cage's Girlfriend and back again! Pointless Thought Bubbles and Complete Circle Dialogues included!
Combines with Marvel Transformers Joe Quesada to form the super-robot Dumbf***!
But seriously, I have high-hopes for these, but if they turn out bad I won't lose any sleep over it.

My money's on a Spider Spud/Optimash Prime 2-pack…

As others have said, this has the potential of being very good or very bad.
I'll wait till some pictures surface before posting anything positive or negative about it.
I gotta say though:
1) IMO, the chances of Marvel Legends of Circuit Breaker, Death's Head or the Neo-Knights are almost nil. Why? I don't see those selling too well.
2) Marvel vehicles that transform into anything, either a Transformers character or a Marvel character aren't likely either since IMO very few Marvel vehicle are widely recognizable.
I fear that leaves us with Marvel characters that transform into something somehow related to their powers … like Spider-man into a Spider, Wolverine into a feral beast or the Hulk into a tank.
I'd say SWTF have worked pretty well. Sales-wise that is.

Caterwaul
I'm calling it now.
We'll get a Squirrel Girl figure that transforms into the Squirl-a-gig. And I'll buy 5.
Deadend
A shield helicarrier would be badass, not sure on the rest, but that one would have to be big. Like death star big in my opinion.
I'd vote war machine or ironman for that figure. And if they could, try and get the marvel mangaverse avengers vehicles in. That'd be another Ironman for the movie hype, a transforming gestalt one at that. A mecha Nick Fury would be interesting. Heck, Omega Supreme as the shield helicarrier would soooooooo rock.
There's also the cosmic cube and a mecha redskull or thanos… I'd take that in a heart beat. Black Cat as someone else said. Comic crossover ones would be odd, but possible since they have both. I'm just hoping for that helicarrier with the ironman movie coming up.
Lots of ideas could work well, but just WTF will they do?
As for GI Joe, sadly, the only one we may get for awhile is snowcat, and I didn't buy enough of him when he was out for enough variants. T_T
Mr.Sci-Fi
A line of Marvel pretenders might work or even animation styled molds like the new transformers animated.
Radioactive Ravage
I dunno. If they can pull off a awesome "Robotic Wolverine" that transforms into something super-cool, I'll bite. I just want to see how it all plays out. Then I'll pass judgment.
Infosaur
If it hasn't been done yet, might I remind people of "Cybertron Overhaul/Wolverine" and "Cybertron Landmine/Colosus"?
Death333
*knock at the door*
-Death *answeres door* "Yes?"
-??? "Is Smog around?
-death "Hey, Smog?! Transformers animated is here to see you!"

I thought we were talking about figures of an undefined nature. Not comics. Or are you simply pointing out that a comic tie-in is likely?
Spiderus Prime
NO GREEN MONSTER TURN INTO TANKS!
I like to get a Nightcrawler Transformer.
artiepants
i'm sure it's already been said, but why they do this s–t and leave GIJoe/Transformers (Did ya'll SEE Don's Rolling Thunder Prime and Dominator Megatron designs) on the table makes me want to scream.
xZAOx
Agreed. I hope for the best, but won't be shocked if it's horrible. And then I can just happily ignore it.
Bryan
Just got in from last night, so haven't read the thread, but I'm sure this has been said–speculation aside, I can't see this being anything but lame. I'll give the first few a go, but it'll be one of the few TF comics I don't blindly support if it doesn't blow me away.
Omnius
To quote another franchise that TFs crossed over with – I have a bad feeling about this.
Macross7
Its just a new version of Mega-Morohs. Marvel character looking robots that turn into vehicles driven by the heroes.
It is NOT Marvel Legends with Transformers. If it was, why have the Marvel name associated with it? If it was a similar type of figure, it would have some other name (Robot Replicas was sort of a Marvel Legends type of toy with a large figure with articulation).
Ramrider
I'm curious as to exactly what this is, but also remaining skeptical based on previous crossover experience.
Marvel Shapeshifters had really dicey alt-modes, which is to be expected if you're trying to transform a human-shaped figure.
Megamorphs… mostly looked like arse in either mode.
SWTF could have worked, but by trying to make the robot modes look like SW characters they naffed it right up – some work out okay, but making the MF and giving it Solo and Chewy's faces was one of the dumbest ideas in history.
I'd certainly be interested in seeing ML versions of human characters, but I don't know what characters they'd use. I'm thinking Spike, Sparkplug and possibly Buster (from the comics), Circuit Breaker, and maybe Blackrock and the Neo-Knights. Whether they'd also co-opt 'toon characters as well (which I suppose they've got the rights too) like Marissa Fairborne, I don't know.
The other possibility that comes to mind is TFs turning into Marvel vehicles, but how many recognisable vehicles are there? Fantasticar, SHIELD helicarrier, the X-Men's Blackbird, Avengers Quinjet… what else is there? Please let's not get into the Spideymobile…
But as long as they're not trying to make them look like human characters, there's a chance it could work.
I guess we'll hear something soon enough… at least then we can start some informed bitching…
G.B. Blackrock
You mean issue #3
I'm holding out hope for an official G.B. Blackrock figure.
