every picture ive seen of these out of box the head crest is rounded all the way to the back as it should be, but ones i saw in stores stop about an inch back from the front and are flat with a label on them…is there a cover piece inside the box or something that covers that?

aksmth and I can verify that they have, indeed, done so. We found Cullenified Cyber Stompin' OPs on our hunt Saturday morning. Where the regular version has "Battle Sounds and Phrases!", this version has a sticker over it proclaiming "Real Movie Sounds and Phrases!", or something to that effect.
We only saw the Cullen version at TRU.

There's a variant. Gary Chalk voice or Peter Cullen voice. This is covered thoroughly in the thread you posted in, heh.
I'll confirm this, found these locally as well.

a friend and i got it today and there must be a variant cuz my friends sounds like cullen but mine sounds like that crappy 20th prime base. TFW2005 please check on that to confirm a variant of some kind its no lie we went back to check on it and about 2 out of five helmets were cullen
optimusprime42
i was hoping it was cullen

Not unless they do another variant, like I said. Cyber Stmpin' Op is voiced by the same person who did 20th anniversary Op I think. It's NOT Cullen. Too bad. If it was I would have gotten Cyber Stompin' Op.

i saw that at wal-mart i was hoping for cullen
Inciteful
After reading this thread, I didn't realize that the other voice was Chalk's. But it makes sense now. I was trying them out the other day and I figured that it had something to do with the batteries in them. Glad that I picked up Cullen's helmet.

I'm now curious if they will also use Cullens voice for the Cyber Stompin Prime.

That's pretty cool that you can choose Cullen or Chalk. My TRU had Cullen. I was in the store listening to it and was impressed to hear that it was Cullen and not the 20th anniversary/Cyber Stompin' Prime guy. I'm not into voice changers, but this is turning out to be a very cool item. It might just be mine come clearance time.

htere are two versions of the helmet. one with Gary's voice and one with Peter's.

Relax dude. You're so ready to pour hate on Hasbro or the movie or whatever that you explode into fury at the slightest provocation.
Aberration
After reading all the reports, I had to bounce over to TRU to check it out, and I ended up grabbing a Cullen helmet. However, for me the box was EXACTLY the same as the one for the "Chalk version" I got at Target earlier in the day. So if the box doesn't say "REAL Movie Voice", don't dismiss it right away, test a couple of them first.

Yes, we're 100% serious. There are Cullen and Chalk variants. I have both in my hands now, as do others.

man
im gonna have to take mine back now
cullen FTW!
Runamuck
Damn…now I want one. The Cullen version, preferably

Edited to add the following:
The ones Hasbro U.K. released all appear to have the earlier item# on them, but i was fairly sure that it did sound like Cullen.
When i can get samples from both versions on my phone, i'll go back and check for sure.

Are you guys serious about Cullen and Chalk variants?
Sidecutter
Joking or not, I actually have something like that in mind for one of the two variants I end up with. Not so much teal though. More like black, gunmetal, and Decepticon Purple

I'll have both versions in my hands by later this afternoon. I intend to record a comparison of them at that point, if someone doesn't do it first, to show the differences in pacing and intonation of the words, as well as the (I believe) different ordering of the phrases.
