Somewhere, an NDA deadline must have passed, because the gaming websites are all buzzing with new video preview content for the upcoming Transformers Fall of Cybertron. Up first is IGN with their video preview of the new game, which shows some great new footage and also talks about some of the design decisions. There’s also a nice little writeup which talks about gameplay refinements and character specific powers – plus some talk about the refined multiplayer including a promising sounding update to the custom character creation!

One of the coolest things revealed in this article is that Gregg Berger will be voicing Grimlock. Fall of Cybertron Gameplay Footage
Gametrailer.com has updated with last nights new episode of GT.TV which aired on Spike. Transformers Fall of Cybertron was on the menu for topics discussed and the first gameplay footage was shown!
Additionally, High Moon Studios revealed in the interview that when you play as Optimus Prime in the game, you can boss around METROPLEX

The official Transformers Facebook page has thrown us another nugget of news. Today, it’s an in game shot of Fall of Cybertron Bruticus. According to our Toyfair coverage, forming Bruticus and playing as the character will be essentially like playing with “God-mode” and everything will be destructible.

Full FoC Bruticus Toy Revealed
Thanks to TFW2005 board member Keith Prime, we now have a full (yet small, and hopefully mistransformed) picture of the upcoming Fall of Cybertron Bruticus toy. Eagled-eyed readers will also be able to see the tiny shots of Blast-Off in robot and vehicle modes.

New Pictures of Fall of Cybertron Combaticons
As the new issue of Game Informer magazine is released, the online version of the magazine comes about as well, sometimes with content not available in the print version of the magazine. As such, in the new online issue, better pictures of the Fall of Cybertron Combaticons were included, as well as a first look of Onslaught.
Fall of Cybertron Bruticus will be composed of five Deluxe-sized toys of the Combaticons and will be released later this year with the return of the Generations line. [Read more…]

Fall of Cybertron Brawl, Swindle and Bruticus figures revealed in Game Informer Magazine
Game Informer magazine #227 has revealed three new figures from the upcoming Fall Of Cybertron/Generations toy line. The new figures are Brawl, Swindle and Bruticus! In a surprise move by Hasbro, they will be releasing five deluxe molds that will be “One of the bigger combiners that Hasbro has ever produced”. Great news for fans of Transformers as generally combiner toys have long been passed over by Hasbro.
