Rescue Bots Shark Sub Capture 1 have put up listings for the Rescue Bots scene packs, the Tunnel Rescue Drill and the Shark Sub Capture. These scene packs include a pair of PVC figures and a vehicle for them to interact with – the Drill comes with Graham Burns and a Morbot (not Boulder as had been previously advertised) and the Shark Sub comes with Dr Morocco and Blades. There’s a bunch of new official images of both attached to the listings which we have mirrored here for you.

For those collecting Rescue Bots, you might like to know these are now showing up as in-stock on Amazon, so hopefully a retail store sighting should not be too far away.

Optimus Prime High Tide Featured Bot Collection Released

Another Transformers sighting for you now! We have word that the Playskool Heroes Rescue Bots Optimus Prime and High Tide Featured Bots are showing up at US retail. These are 2-3 inch tall PVC figures that have a special “rescue action” feature. It’s also the first plastic representation of the larger High Tide bot mode to make it to retail.

A big thanks to TFW member nstanosheck who sent us the tip. He spotted this duo in a Walmart in Dallas, Texas.

Rescue Bots High Tide Rescue Rig Released

Here’s another bit of sighting news for you tonight – it seems as though the Rescue Bots High Tide Rescue Rig playset is arriving at retail. According to TFW2005 member maxlovesamber, the cases containing the set are arriving in Target stores now including the one in Colombus, MD. However, as Target does not have a space on the shelves for these yet, they’re going into the stock room rather than out on the floor of the stores. If this is a set you are looking for, you might want to try asking the staff at Target nicely with the DCPI 087-08-0394 to see if you can add this boat-bot to your collection.

Rescue Bots Season Vol 8

Thanks to Beyond Home Entertainment, we have a new listing for Volume 8 of Transformers Rescue Bots: Bots and Robbers. This listing is for an Australian release of the series, but it’s good news as we are steadily completing the series on DVD release with each new volume. Here’s to hoping for an eventual box set as well.

Rescue Bots Bumblebee 3

Thanks to TFW2005 member griffin-of-oz for passing along some sighting news as well as in-hand images for a new mold of Rescue Bots Bumblebee. We previously saw this briefly back at Toy Fair, this being our first sighting so far. This new mold is transformable and features new packaging for the Rescue Bots toy line.

If you’re collecting these figures, keep an eye out and be sure to help each other by using our sightings forum. Continue on after the jump to see the mirrored images!

Thanks to forum member griffin-of-oz, check out a new Playskool Heroes Transformers Rescue Bots Optimus Prime Exclusive Figure. Amazon has the listing up, stating it to be an exclusive. This is a repaint of the Rescue Bots Hoist figure that was previously released, but with new head. It is priced at $14.99, is available now and ships for free (if you order over $35).

See a few images by reading on.

It’s time for another Transformers toy sighting! This time we can report that the Rescue Bots Epic scale versions of Blurr and Salvage have been found at US retail. These 12 inch non-transforming versions of the Rescue Bots’ new recruits can fit a 2-inch Playskool Heroes PVC in their chest compartments, such as the human characters from Rescue Bots. These were found at a Walmart retail store in Connecticut by TFW2005 member Almightymaximus.

Details have been posted on Zap2it of the grande finale of season 3 of Transformers Rescue Bots. It sounds like things are gearing up, big-time. Things kick off with what sounds like a first for Transformers – an episode composed mainly of characters singing in I Have Heard the Robots Singing (okay, technically, it’s the second, but the less said of Carnage in C-Minor the better).

From there it is on to what sounds like a two-part season finale with season 3 episode 25 Now and Then and episode 26 Today and Forever – a truly awesome title for what sounds like the most epic of finales. Full details are spoiler-tagged below:

S3 E24 I Have Heard the Robots Singing:

Tensions arise on the team after Doc’s new invention causes everyone to sing instead of talk.

S3 E25 Now and Then:
The Island of Griffin Rock vanishes from the ocean.

S3 E26 Today and Forever:
In order to save Griffin Rock, the Rescue Bots must make the ultimate sacrifice.

No airdates are given for the episodes, but given current trends we’d expect to hear robots singing on 6 June, and the finale over the following two weeks, 13 June and 20 June. We’d not rule out the possibility of a double-bill on 13 June, though. Watch this space for more news, and watch Discovery Family Channel at 1:30pm EST every Saturday for more new episodes through into the beginning of June.

Last month we reported the Generation 1 cartoon, the complete series, will be available for purchase or rent on the video streaming service Vimeo. As reported by Comic Book Resources, this partnership between Hasbro Studios and Vimeo continues as the streaming service will offer later this year more Transformers shows including Rescue Bots, Transformers Prime, and the 2015 version of Robots In Disguise. These will be a part of 13 classic cartoons, including G.I. Joe as well for our Hisstank members.

No concrete dates have been shown yet, we’re sure to see those details emerge as 2015 rolls along. Hit the discussion link below to join in on the talk.
