Blades Robot

Via the official Hasbro Transformers website, we have a look at the all-new versions of Rescue Bots Blades and Chase, coming to stores near you very soon! This pair was first mentioned in a Toy Fair 2015 press release – and the trend of Hasbro going back and doing new versions of the core cast meant we had a decent idea of what to expect from this pair. Now at last, we get to see what Hasbro has in store for Rescue Bots fans. Both Chase and Blades look sharp, with their new show-accurate looks really coming through nicely. Check out the images of the pair after the break.

Rescue Bots Season 3 on Netflix

TFW2005 member MTBlanks dropped us a line to let us know that the second half of Transformers: Rescue Bots’ third season has now been added to Netflix. The second half of the season adds in episodes 13 through 26 of the series, covering the introduction of the new members of the team such as High Tide and Salvage, as well as the two-part season finale of Now and Then, Today and Forever. This also means that all 78 episodes of the series are now available for streaming. Roll to the rescue!

Rescue Bots Scene Sets Released

We’ve got another Transformers toy sighting for you! The Rescue Bots Scene Sets – the Tunnel Rescue Drill with Graham Burns and a Morbot, and the Shark Sub Capture with Blades and Dr. Morocco – have been found at retail. TFW2005 member JukeOutlander brings us the word that these were gracing shelves on a Toys R Us in San Jose, California!

Happy hunting, and roll to the rescue!

Hasbro Transformers Banner

We have with us a small document from Hasbro, highlighting their near future (2015/2016) Entertainment Plans including Transformers. While there is nothing new that we do not already know about, it’s great to hear some confirmations officially.

Transformers: Rescue Bots Season 4 was confirmed by Discovery Family Channel few months ago. Hasbro also highlights the fact that it does.

Planned for 2016 is Transformers: Robots In Disguise Season 2. Rest assured, it’s not canceled as some rumors say.

Finally we have Transformers: Combiner Wars; the upcoming Machinima series. The images on Hasbro’s document is comprised of Package Art from Optimus Maximus, Legends Thundercracker and Bombshell. So, it doesn’t give away how the show will actually look like.

Other than that, My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic is hitting its 6th Season and a new show [?] Equestria Girls: Legend Of Everfree. The next MLP movie is also mentioned. Trademark reveals that it might be called “Guardians Of Harmony”.

Speaking of movies, following tidbits regarding Hasbro’s upcoming movies in the work was also mentioned in another document highlighting the company overview:

“On the film side, the studio has developed and produced a number of features based on Hasbro’s brands. In addition to partnering with leading studios, the Company intends to make movies based on new and existing Hasbro brands for audiences globally through its Allspark Pictures film label. Films in development or planned for release, include TRANSFORMERS 5 (Paramount), G.I. JOE 3 (Paramount), JEM AND THE HOLOGRAMS (Universal & Allspark Pictures), OUIJA 2 (Universal & Allspark Pictures), MAGIC: THE GATHERING (21st Century Fox), PLAY-DOH (21st Century Fox) and an animated feature based on MY LITTLE PONY (Allspark Pictures).”

You can checkout some extracts from the document, after the jump. We will hear some more news soon… so keep your eyes on TFW2005.

Rescue Bots Shark Sub Capture 1 have put up listings for the Rescue Bots scene packs, the Tunnel Rescue Drill and the Shark Sub Capture. These scene packs include a pair of PVC figures and a vehicle for them to interact with – the Drill comes with Graham Burns and a Morbot (not Boulder as had been previously advertised) and the Shark Sub comes with Dr Morocco and Blades. There’s a bunch of new official images of both attached to the listings which we have mirrored here for you.

For those collecting Rescue Bots, you might like to know these are now showing up as in-stock on Amazon, so hopefully a retail store sighting should not be too far away.

Optimus Prime High Tide Featured Bot Collection Released

Another Transformers sighting for you now! We have word that the Playskool Heroes Rescue Bots Optimus Prime and High Tide Featured Bots are showing up at US retail. These are 2-3 inch tall PVC figures that have a special “rescue action” feature. It’s also the first plastic representation of the larger High Tide bot mode to make it to retail.

A big thanks to TFW member nstanosheck who sent us the tip. He spotted this duo in a Walmart in Dallas, Texas.

Rescue Bots High Tide Rescue Rig Released

Here’s another bit of sighting news for you tonight – it seems as though the Rescue Bots High Tide Rescue Rig playset is arriving at retail. According to TFW2005 member maxlovesamber, the cases containing the set are arriving in Target stores now including the one in Colombus, MD. However, as Target does not have a space on the shelves for these yet, they’re going into the stock room rather than out on the floor of the stores. If this is a set you are looking for, you might want to try asking the staff at Target nicely with the DCPI 087-08-0394 to see if you can add this boat-bot to your collection.

Rescue Bots Season Vol 8

Thanks to Beyond Home Entertainment, we have a new listing for Volume 8 of Transformers Rescue Bots: Bots and Robbers. This listing is for an Australian release of the series, but it’s good news as we are steadily completing the series on DVD release with each new volume. Here’s to hoping for an eventual box set as well.
