Botcon have announced the dates and the venue of their 2016 convention! Botcon 2016 will be held in Louisville, Kentucky, over the weekend of April 7th – April 10th, 2016!

Botcon 2016 will be held in the historic Galt House, a waterfront hotel in the heart of Louisville. Hotel registration is now available through the Botcon website. As always, there will be the Primus package option available for attendees with the five figure convention exclusive set, plus Friday night admission to the sales room and admission to the Saturday night casino night and awards party.

It is advertised that convention pre-registration will be available “in the coming weeks” – let’s hope that means it is a little earlier than this year’s convention! For now, mark the dates in your diary – April 7th to April 10th, 2016 – and the place – the Galt House in Louisville, Kentucky!

TFcon is happy to welcome Brendan Cahill to TFcon Charlotte. Fans will recognize his art from various issues of both Transformers ongoing #21, #25, #27, #29, Robots in Disguise #7, 2012 Annual and More than Meets the Eye #12, #27 and #40.

With the close of the final Auto Assembly, a new Transformers convention has come forward to occupy that August / Summer spot in our convention calendars. Introducing TFNation, a new Transformers convention for the UK and for our friends from Europe and even further afield.

TFNation has announced that TFNation 2016 will be taking place at the Hilton Metropole in Birmingham, UK – which you might remember was the venue for Auto Assembly for the last few years. The dates for TFNation 2016 have also been announced today, as 19 – 21 August, 2016!

Further information and registrations will go up shortly – for now, save the dates and get ready for more summer Transformers fun! Within the United Kingdom, we shall come together at the TFNation!

Morgan Lofting will be a guest at the 2015 Canadian Action Figure Expo this year. Best known for playing the Baroness across both the Sunbow- and DiC-produced seasons of G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero, Lofting has also played such characters as Firestar and Moonracer in Transformers Generation 1, Princess Invidia on Star Blazers, Black Cat in the 1981 Spider-Man series and Fistina on Ben 10: Omniverse. She will be available all day for autographs and photos.

The 12th Annual Canadian Action Figure Expo is September 27th at the Hilton Mississauga/Meadowvale – 6750 Mississauga Road, Mississauga, Ontario.

Ener Con exclusives

Ener-Con 2015 will be taking place in Winnipeg, Manitoba this weekend August 15th & 16th at the Clarion Hotel Winnipeg.  Special guests include Neil Kaplan the voice of Optimus Prime in the original Robots in Disguise cartoon, as well as IDW author/artist Bill Forster.  For more info check out the Ener-Con website.

Additionally Ener-Con will be offering a 2015 Exclusive, the Cruise Night Weapon Pack. TFExpo2015

TFExpo 2015 begins today! The TFExpo dealer room will open at 3:00 pm for pre-registrants and 5:00 pm for general admission. Saturday will feature special guests Dan Gilvezan (voice of Generation 1 Bumblebee), and Buzz Dixon (Generation 1 Transformers and G.I. Joe writer), and comic book artist Matt Frank. If you’re not pre-registered you can still buy general admission tickets at the door. We’ve included the show schedule for your review after the jump as well.
