Third party company X-Transbots, via their Facebook account, have shared images of the updated renders of their MX-4 Abaddon (Masterpiece Scale Galvatron).
This project was originally announced while back in 2015, then we saw updated renders this year, and now we finally have a complete look at the gray prototype in robot mode. As we can see from the images, X-Transbots is bringing us a very proportioned and cartoon-accurate Galvatron. The images also show that a big (very big) blast effect will also be included.

BIOMEC
That's what I do, they look great together and I don't have to transform any of them to appreciate both modes!
King Nergil
Crazy f*ckers.
Optimus Prime23
And some men just want to watch the world burn…
Sandstormer
… and others are transformed BY them, amirite?
Vrillon77
that is funny, in a sad sort of way. Some might even say it's……. bad comedy
octobotimus
It’s funny to think that by next year, Hasbro will have released 3 g1 Galvatrons since this guy’s announcement.
(4 if you count RED).
Peacefather
Because some people transform their toys
Jim1981
Will you be getting both? I find it weird that a lot of collectors just have 1 representation per character. I understand budget and space reasons, but why not get 1 for Alt and 1 for Robot.
I have Stack as well, but received it with a faulty arm. I did received a replacement part.

I take it he was referring to the green being painted/plastic, I think some of the other pictures because of the lighting it looked like their was a big difference in the greens.
TigerBlade
God forbid you call an over 5 year old figure aging too. That'll really ruffle some feathers
franpincho
It is really bizarre. God forbid you like and mention other options! I don't think I've ever seen anything like this in all my years of collecting.
Prime135
??? The green on hoist is painted, and imo he’s a lovely display piece. Personally I find ft’s offering gaudy and misproportioned. XTB is better, but still unrefined. IMO takara hoist is the best.
I love some of ft’s stuff, but god the weird brand tribalism they inspire is awful.
franpincho
FT Hoist is something I'd never enjoy personally. It looks so odd and completely wrong. But your money your shelves.
I don't collect "display pieces". I collect toys.
TigerBlade
Why are you complaining? You literally have what you want. At this point you're just complaining other ppl might get what they want, which is very odd…..
I didn’t see your original post but if it lead you to name calling…..you need to chill bud. I haven't 'told' anyone what to like and why. That's your issue you've brought to the table based on misunderstanding a post. I'm simply giving my opinion Takara are the kings of the screen look and articulation. Nothing more. Nothing less.
Also. 'Kings of diecast'? Where did you pull that from?
Agent 539
Fair enough.
Gaius Freeman
That's fair. My opinion that "cartoon accuracy" is often conflated with a "good aesthetics" is mixing too much with stress from the tech and gaming job market. The point stands, the tone was poor.
Optimus Prime23
Escalated quickly, that did.
Gaius Freeman
I won't buy a different figure. I already did, and I'm happy with it. It would take one hell of a Galvatron offering to make me even remotely consider replacing Sovereign. Claim whatever you want about who the "kings" of diecast are, but you can kindly stop trying to tell those of us who like Sovereign why we do, especially with such a reductive truth claim as "you're a slave to diecast."
EDIT: took out an unkind word that was uncalled for.
Scurv
Since Runabout and Runamuck are finally coming out after years Since they first revealed, this guys gotta move up the production line surely? Unless Keith hates money.
