Courtesty of our Malaysia resident 2005 Boards member YellowCorvette, we can share for you our first images of the New Transformers: Cyberverse 1-Step Hot Rod and Wheeljack.
This is our first in-hand look at toys and packaging (we had only seen as official renders images). These 1-step molds have their own action gimmick. Hot Rod features a built-in circular saw attack gimmick, and Wheeljack has a shoulder cannon launching gimmick. Both figures were found at Toys R Us Sunway Pyramid in Malaysia for 59.90 Ringgit ($14.56 approximately) each one.
Check out the mirrored images on this news post after the jump and then share your impressions on the 2005 Boards!

That Wheeljack looks kinda meh me being such a big fan wishes he was in the main line but this is what we got for now I hope he has ok articulation!

I went back to the Toys R Us store where I discovered these figures….. and get some snapshots of the UPC codes for each of them.

I also spotted a new 1-step Optimus Prime who also has an axe attack gimmick. It's not the best looking toy, and frankly I think it looks kinda terrible even by 1-step changers standard.

Despite that, I still have a snap shot of 1-step Optimus Prime's UPC code:

Consider that Cyberverse is a toyline that most aren't even interested with, I'm not surprised if that's the case.
Speaking of the UPC codes, I'm sorry but I didn't take a snapshot of them right now. I'm in a hurry at that time.
Wheeljack is definitely the better looking among the two. Hot Rod has a slightly more interesting attack gimmick but that's about it.
Nevermore
I just realized that we haven't had any sightings of the wave 3 1-Steps (Prowl, new Optimus, new Bumblebee and new Megatron) yet… or, if anyone did find them, at least nobody bothered to report them here in News & Rumors!

Wheeljack actually looks pretty good for a onestep. I'll certainly pick him up. Hopefully he gets a good Warrior figure too!

Wow, Hot Rod with ELBOWS?! What is this MADNESS?!
Nevermore
These are definitely newsworthy! We've only seen these two as CG renders before.
Any chance of a photo of the UPC barcodes?

Just a follow up (Not sure if it's news worthy through)
When I went to Toys R Us Sunway Pyramid to look for any interesting new TF toys, I did spot two different new Cyberverse One-Step changers, Wheeljack and Hot Rod which also comes with an action gimmick.

Among the two, Hot Rod is the more interesting one as he came with an built-in circular saw attack gimmick which is unusual since the only Hot Rod/Rodimus toys that came with the circular saw weapon is MP-09 and MP-29.

Wheeljack just has a shoulder cannon launching gimmick. Wheeljack has a better-looking vehicle mode than Hot Rod, however.

I think it would be a shelfwarming mistake to import these Cyberverse toys to Korea… IF they ever do.

Yes, I also spotted Landmine/Alpha Trion in limited quantity. I also spotted POTP Inferno, Outback and Cindersaur at the same TRU store.
I'm interested a bit with Warrior class Shockwave, but even then that figure isn't in my top priority right now. I'll probably wait for the Ultra Class Shockwave from the wave 2 release (That Shockwave looks a bit better, and is actually Voyager class sized)

Ultimate Class toys for a price of a AoE/TLK Voyager? I'm in. Also getting the Warrior OP if possible.
Also, is that Prime Master Landmine I'm seeing? I'll try and get one someday.

While I go to TRU Pavilion KL to get SS Jazz a few days ago, I also spotted the majority of the Cyberverse wave 1 toys at the same place.

I'm not too interested in these toys, but I do notice that these toys has a lower price tag compared to the Studio Series/Generations toys.
Cyberverse Scout class: MYR 34 (Generations Legends class is priced MYR 50-60)
Cyberverse Warrior class: MYR 70 (SS Deluxes is priced MYR 94.30, while POTP Deluxes is MYR 85)
Cyberverse Ultra class: MYR 100 (SS Voyagers is priced MYR 151)
Cyberverse Ultimate class: MYR 150 (POTP Leaders is priced MYR 234)
