The Official Japanese Bumblebee Movie website has uploaded a video featuring Bumblebee with a special animation with a Happy New Year message for the fans.
The clip also focuses on the key scene from the movie where Charlie gives the name “Bumblebee” to our small brave yellow hero. This is a great gift for Japanese fans who are still waiting for the premiere of the movie on their country. The Bumblebee movie is scheduled for March 22, 2019 in Japan.

There are several reasons why films get released after places like China, in Japan:
– Let’s All Go To The Movies
Basically, the film/cinema industry (like most things in Japan) is tightly controlled and monopolised to the point that the customer loses out/has less choice. There are only so many cinemas in Japan, so prices and availability are easily controlled. That's also why is very difficult to have "dinner and a movie" in Japan, as screen-showings are only a few times a day, so by the time you've had dinner, the film will next be shown really late at night.
SOME films are shown at the same time as everywhere else (or even premiered) but it's all about money, and the amount of power the industry has (no outside/foreign competition).
Still, the internet is a great place. My girlfriend can get free cinema tickets every month in Japan, but even those are not enough reason to entice me to see old films, when it's easier and less hassle to watch them online.

For all films? If thats the case, it's really difficult for you guys in Japan to avoid spoilers for big movies such as Marvel etc… unless u guys stay away from social media, youtube and the forums here….

Japan usually gets films between 1-6 months after most countries (even China). Same with TV shows.
