Via Keith’s Fantasy Club Weibo we can share for you the first CGI renders of their next project: KFC Powermaster Optimus Prime Apex Armor / God Ginrai.
There are the first early renders of KFC take on the Powermaster Optimus Prime with Apex Armor or God Ginrai if you prefer the reference to the Japanese Masterforce cartoon character.
The renders show a figure heavily inspired by the original G1 toy. As we can see, the first trailer can combine with the cab, and the second trailer gives us the final power-up. The first trailer can transform into a base mode, and of course a Powermaster partner is included.
Keep in mind these are early renders, and there must be several design changes in the next updates. We have no word on an specific release date or price, but you can check out the images after the jump and then sound off on the 2005 Boards!
God Orion
I will have to try then. Thanks for the tips!
Cheebs
I mean, intuitive for KFC. I also pretend the base mode doesn't exist. Going from trailer to super is no hassle.
God Orion
Intuitive? Really?
I find MP-44 intuitive. I guess I need to practice the trailer's transformation more when they release the cab so I can combine them and find out which of the official or this one is the best.
TaurusOxford
Much better. Grand Raijin definitely animes better than the MPG. Thanks.
Curium
Both Magic Square (1.0) and Transform Element announced their MP Optimus figures shortly after MP-44 was announced and released sometime around the same time as MP-44 and nothing happened to them. I would expect similar nothing to happen here.

Is this close enough?

are they suicidal? October, 2 months before TT's version?
Tekkaman Blade
You can always get one of the filler cabs off eBay to hold you over till they release the real cab. I admit I got one. Worse comes to worse you can use it to display him in regular and super mode at the same time when X transbots finally release the cab
Cheebs
I just got my Raijin trailer in today. The transformation is surprisingly intuitive and very quick for KFC. The only thing I might not have guessed on my own is the pins. So far, I am happy. I think the cab won't let me down, and this will be my Ginrai.
God Orion
Exactly!
1000 USD!
I will get the Takara Tomy Ginrai and probably sell my KFC trailer because it's a big piece, and some small joints are worrying but they will probably be sturdier with the cab inserted.
Ginrai is my dream figure, and I actually lost any interest in collecting as it's been so long since we got an update on this KFC cab figure. Now the official is teased, it's more to my taste and the size it's at is actually more what I am looking for. My only concern is the super arms sticking out so much.
It's so nice to have options though, I hope you will enjoy whichever you will get.
rikkomba
Wow.
Releasing Ginrai after the trailer reminds me of Hasbro's fuckery with Legacy Breakdown. Not good.
Redferno97
The trailer is out now, Ginrai is due in October and afaik Godbomber is still in development (prototype on display at Tfcon in October)

I am confused is KFC's God Ginrai out and completed? This has been going on for a while.
Tekkaman Blade
Fans hobby also works well as the Marvel comics version and even had a kit for that.
I prefer the anime version so I’ll end up with KFC or Mp versions (Probably both considering the scale differences) also the Dx9 one if it looks good for legends.
Dear god I do have a collecting problem don’t I?
SquishyOH
October is the current ETA.

I can almost smell it now!
I don't know what people are going on about FansHobby. It is the usual sturdy toy, but also the usual FansHobby creative license with the look. I've seen PowerBaser and the guy is so chubby that he cannot see his own toes. He's nearly as thick as he is tall. Recalls the classic brick shape of the original toy.
Now if you like the toy, then FH may be for you.

I believe KFCs Ginrai / Base Prime will be out in October of this year. Somone asked KFC and the Colonel responded. Its a few pages back.
TheLastBlade
I’m curious as well.

Regarding the Fanshobby, what does that mean exactly?

At that price i am definitely out ..

Exactly what I'm doing and my thoughts on KFC/XTB. However, since the cab of Prime goes into the trailer, I don't think there is much to worry about, outside of stability and getting scratched. Also and the crazy part is, MP Star Saber was crap and needed a kit to save it, while KFC's Victory Leo was pretty stable and a solid figure on its own.
Otherwise, I suspect now that Takara's has been announced, we will have to wait and see if KFC will release the rest before or after theirs are hitting collectors hands, which sucks balls
