Care of Weibo user TF-Factory, we have some new in-hand images of the upcoming Transformers Movie Studio Series releases, Optimus Prime (2007 Movie version) and Bonecrusher. Both figures are in the Voyager class, with the Optimus Prime modeled after his Movie 1 appearance and featuring his cannon formed of his gas tanks. He’ll also be capable of merging with the upcoming Leader class Jetfire release. Meanwhile Bonecrusher is the first new mold for the character since his one and only appearance in the 2007 movie, and he brings a higher level of detail to the character than his original release, in addition to being scaled with Optimus Prime to recreate the highway battle in the 2007 movie.
Check out the images of both figures attached to this post.

Studio Series #33 Voyager Bonecrusher
My little write up on Bonecrusher. He’s awesome.
DarkEyes
I have to say that prefer the color scheme of the first Studio Series Optimus Prime.
The figure is not pretty sturdy but this is common in the entire line. It looks good, to me, after all.

Oh of course. But that’s meant to be like an MPM bone crusher. Especially when it’s isn’t haskara. Of course there’s gonna be a big leap in quality.

He is an improvement, yes. But now that I have the 3P version, I'm not sure I'm getting this guy. Not sure he's enough better.

Have we seen any size comparisons between SS Bonecrusher and the old deluxe mold yet?

We sure have come a long way!

My first impression was he was a bit short but it's a colossal improvement over this:

Really hate those stunted smokestacks on the SS prime though

Honestly the shapes are better than DF's (but dittos for those for actually releasing something).
I'll buy an official for my SS shelf while i'll wait also for an OS version because reasons.

I am not sure why people are surprised that a $35 figure is inferior to a $80 to $110 figure. Unless these are scalper prices, this is a no brainer. The scale is not perfect, but it is not absurdly off and captures the basic idea well enough. If these measurements are accurate (I have heard these have been off before, is that true?), then how much taller is this Prime in robot mode compared to the last one?
I have seen some people complain about it not being the right model from the film. Correct me if I am wrong but Prime is the same CGI model, at least in the first two films. Prime used the swords and the gun in both films. I am pretty sure the entire Autobot cast that survived into the second film were exactly the same models as the first film. Bumblebee was a different car, but his robot mode was the same as the first film\'s.

He is extremely posable. He is not a bad figure at all.

I know most like the new Prime better but I personally adore the SS-05 mold. Yes, the chest and colors are off but it is an insanely fun figure with bonkers pose-ability. I really dig it. Plus I really like the darker, richer color scheme.

Interested in both figures but after this Prime… I don't think I'll need any more Bayverse Primes in the future.

Maybe they didn't have Jetfire in the plans yet. That's why the rotf can't work with him. Anyway the metallic dark colors of rotf don't fit well with the rest so this new one if better.
Nemisispath
Yeah, he's not a bad figure. But now he's just redundant, aside from his swords.
And the branding thing is a bit confusing, I agree.

Prime and Bonecrusher are on the want list!! Stll can't for Rampage and the rest of the Constructicons!!!
optimus_who?
I'm not seeing bonecrushers logo anywhere on him.

Bonecrusher looks great, beasids thi kibble on his elbows. Same with Optimus, but in my opinion his gun needs to be bigger.
GoLion
I\'m definitely interested in that prime. It fixed the problem I had with the chest of the original SS release.

By god you’re right. I think it’s mistransformed to the sides.
