Takara Tomy Website has announced the release of the Tokyo Comic-Con Exclusive Studio Series SS-EX Bumblebee Retro Garage Set.
As some of you may have noticed, this is the Takara Tomy release of Hasbro’s San Diego Comic-Con Exclusive Bumblebee Retro Rock Garage which included a golden SS-01 1976 Camaro Bumblebee and the G1 Japanese Dinocassettes Dairu and Uruaz. From what we can see from the promotional image, there are no discernible differences compared to the Hasbro version.
This set will be available at Takara Tomy booth at Tokyo Comic-Con 2018 (November 30 to December 2) for 4860 Yen ($43 approximately) and limited to only 2 items per person.
A good opportunity for Japanese fans to add this set into their collections. You can now click on the bar and share your impressions on the 2005 Boards!
G1 Cassette Hunter
Anyone know if these come with the same factory production flaws as the Hasbro counterparts on the feet for the combined form? Any other differences making them uniquely collectible outside of stickers on the packaging??

Interesting. I've always assumed their names together were supposed to sound like a horrible mispronunciation of the word dinosaur (i.e. DileZaur). Yours makes way more sense.
Raiju
Neat. Now I'm debating on whether to go to Tokyo Comic Con or not. Don't care for golden Bee at all but the cassettes are on my radar.
Nevermore
Also, just as an aside, I'd like to remind everyone that the name Takara was originally going for with "Dairu" was not in fact "Dial", but "Dile" as in "repdile" (a pun on "reptile"), just like the intention for "Zauru" was "Zaur" as in "dinozaur".
Sometimes Takara does these weird puns that probably only make sense in Japanese. See also the Galaxy Force names for the Cybertron Street Speed Mini-Con Team: "Gagenda", "Cyana" and "Sullow", which reflect their respective colors "magenta", "cyan" and "yellow".

The Decepticon combiner is yet to have been named as far as I can tell, but I refer to mine as Toggle. Basically Tuogel like you suggested, but simplified a bit so that it makes more sense. If anyone has any better names, I'm all ears, but for now I'm going with Toggle.

Ah… after some searching I found galleries. These are very coool.
bigpink
Intersting. Other than the color swap do they also have Decepticon insignia in the rub sign? Will they combine to create a new Decepticon cassette combiner? Is that called Tuogel?
My interest is officially piqued… please elaborate.
Mecheon
This is Dairu and Uruaz, Zauru's evil twin. Dairu's evil twin is in the other set
CleverNamePendingatron
No, the information there is correct. The set comes with a reissue of G1 Dairu and a brand new character called Uruaz, who is an evil pallette swapped version of Zauru.
Zauru proper came packaged with the Entertainment Earth exclusive gold version of VW Beetle Bumblebee, alongside an evil pallette swapped version of Dairu called Uriad.
Trust me, I own both sets.
ZapRowsdower
Wait… I see a difference: the price!
So now TakaraTomy are releasing Hasbro products for LESS than what Hasbro charges? It's a topsy-turvy world, man!
bigpink
Dairu & Zauru! Please correct this.
The four autobot cassettes are Dairu and Zauru (Dial and Saur) that combine into Legout, and Noizu with Gurafi (Noise and Graphy) that combine into Decibel.
They are awesome!!
