3P Fans Toys is coming in hot! We have some new images of their FT-30A Maverick (G1 Silverbolt) And FT-30C Goose (G1 Skydive) to share with all of you.
If your optics like the prototype of the FT-30A Maverick (Masterpiece Scale Silverbolt) now you can check out some new images of a colored prototype in both modes.
But there’s more! We also have new images of the FT-30C Goose (Masterpiece scale G1 Skydive) showing off his poseability and a comparison shot with his partner Maverick / Silverbolt. It’s important to remember that the combined form is supposed to be in scale with Fans Toys Terminus Giganticus FT-20, so we expect a very big, if not the biggest combiner figure to date.
You can check the mirrored images on this news post after the jump and then sound off your impressions at the 2005 Boards!

I think I saw him at the local bingo parlor talking to some blue-haired old lady. He’s such a cad.

Being first wasn’t the point, it’s just that it was already posted so posting a second time was unnecessary… I’m sure if I hadn’t said anything someone else would have pointed it out anyway

Then it pleases me to be the first.

Hey @Redferno97 you seen this?
Dpuff
Anybody seen grifter prime lately?
Redferno97
Looks like someone has been stealing FT’s videos and reuploading them to bilibili

Looking at those screen grabs it is obvious why Fantoys went for gold antenna and not all a chrome fetish
Megamenasortimus Prime
You’ve put it on their mind, now it’s merely a matter of time

I already posted it, literally the post above yours

Hahhhahha…It seems that I didn’t refresh this page and put the link straight away and after that I noticed that there is actually the Fans Toys guide video link in the thread already. You beat me to it.
I don't usually put these Fans Toys guide videos here, or I don't try to rush to put them up quickly, but this time I happened to notice it when I was looking for information on other things on the Internet and I thought that this time I would post the video in the thread when it seemed appropriate. Anyway, glad you put the video as well.
It seems that I got lucky and my wish came true because I said on the page 694 that it would be nice to see if the guide video came out on the same day as The Transformers One trailer. It came.
You know what @Redferno97 , I’m just going to delete this my version of Fans Toys guide video link… I think we can deal very well with only one link.
Btw. Just watched the new The Transformers One trailer and I must say…Geez, what a piece of sh*t. I stopped watching in 1.50 and that’s it. I never watch it in the end. I have never done something like that with any trailer, but now I just had to. It’s not a good trailer. So dissapointed.

Premiering in 14 hours

Bonecrasher is also my logical choice now that I found the proof shown on page 694 that FT combiners have the same palms for the most part. Only the back of the palm is different, at least in Superion and Devastrator. And that back of the palm might just be a shell, so it's easy to make separately for each combiner. Shown in the pictures below.

I would say that the final version of FT Menasor’s palm is still partially uncertain, because in the render image its palm is different than in the color image, but even in the color image, Menasor’s palm is not purple in color, as it should be if Fans Toys wants it to be cartoon accurate. In the color image, Menasor’s palms are black. So I'm just trying to show that maybe those black palms are not the final version.
Here’s a render that seems to have the effect of a fist iron or something at the knuckles.

It’s also worth mentioning that in the render image the back of the FT Menasor’s palm looks like it might have influence from Hasbro's Legacy line, IMO. Here’s a picture of Hasbro’s Legacy Menasor figure.

And as for Superion’s palm, in the cartoon series the color of Superion’s palm was often greyish, and not pure white, so Superion’s palm does not necessarily follow heavily the accuracy of the cartoon now that we have seen that Viper include a pure white palm. Though, there are scenes, in the cartoon, where Superion’s palms look maybe more white than grey, so decision, decisions.

Here Superion has more white palms.

So now it will be very interesting to follow if Fans Toys will actually logically release these members of the combiners with the palm inside them. I would say, if Fans Toys really wants to know how many left hand palms they would have to make to have enough palms for a possible Bonecrasher figure, and if the Jester figure release is indeed q2 2024, (I mean if they want to make these left side palms in the same production run), then in that case I'd say Bonecrasher should be available for pre-order pretty soon, because q2 ends in just over two months from now.

Maybe I'm in the minority but I really hate having parts that sit aside and do nothing when not in use, so I was really glad that FT went the creative route with the stands instead. However, my issue comes in if said "extra mode" actually ends up compromising the combined mode.

I’d argue pantsforming is easier than adding a bogus member. You don’t have to worry about designing another transforming triple-changer that’s hella complicated. You literally just design parts to fit around the bots. FT probably would’ve been done way sooner if they didn’t try to transform their skeletons into bases and flight stands and whatnot that nobody will use. Just give us the goods.
ARedmond
I put him into every mode once when I first got mine, just to have done it – then up on the shelf he went!
DrCalligari
Agreed. I did pick FT Kup over XTB but I don't think one is arbitrarily better than the other.
For me, Fanstoys' Autobot Movie bots have always been a bit lacking and I'd love to see XTB take a stab at them.
Ryuu
I kinda want to see what an XTB hot rod would look like. I like their season 3 autobots more than FT personally. FT season 3 deceptions however are the best IMO
Subotnik
I don't think I've ever actually transformed Hydra into every mode.
