Kabam have delivered their November update to Transformers: Forged to Fight players, and we have a very nice addition to the ranks: Beast Wars Scorponok.
Scorponok is already available to be added into your ranks of playable characters since November 1st. Scorponok is coming in a fresh design, not so organic as we saw in the Beast Wars cartoon but sure cool and menacing.
The full Bot Intel Report can be found here at the official Forged To Fight website. You can also read on for the full profile and stats after the jump and then join to the discussion at the 2005 Boards!

WEAK MATCH-UPS:

Shockwave
- Shockwave’s ability to Heal Block will put a stop to Scorponok’s Regenerative capabilities.
RECOMMENDED MODULES FOR SCORPONOK:
Repair Module
- This Mod will allow Scorponok to out heal his opponent’s damage output.
Transwarp Cell
- This mode will encourage the slippery Scorpion to assault his hapless opponents with frequent, hard to dodge, heavy attacks.

Well, I finally got my first 5 star boy…but it’s a bit annoying because the overall game difficulty jumps up in various aspects of the game…so things that I was doing easily, like away missions, are now nearly impossible.
In terms of game design, it makes advancing in the game feel more like a punishment than a reward.
jamarmiller
yeah, your doing something wrong.
each mission has an easy street through all the acts. Just do the easy street on all missions and acts you should be getting tons of those. I dont play it that much but I got like 10 4 STAR BOTS already. dont try to do 100 percent complete on each one until you got a strong team of at least 4 star guys.
Whomps
Are you doing Alliance missions? You should be getting some for participating in those as well as some level 4 shards
Tresob
This is true, but they want 100,000 faction credits per 4 star bot…which seems hard to acquire if I am barely progressing in the story mode because it has gotten so hard to find a path that is beatable.
Whomps
You should be able to buy more 4 star bots once you unlock your first one
Tresob
I have been playing way too much of this for what it is.
And I am a bit annoyed at how steep the challenge curve is in the story mode. All of a sudden, every path has four star bots, but I only have one four star Megatron and a bunch of three star guys…so it is becoming a slog.

I just downloaded this again on Netflix. Haven’t played this years, and I am very overwhelmed by the unnecessarily complex economy.
Nice to play with Combiner Wars figures after so long…makes me miss’em.
Peaceful Soldier
I have an alliance called "Soldiers of Peace" if anyone wants to join. We are a group of friendly people, all with the same passion for the whole franchise. Please join us.

I still find it so strange that Netflix decided to buy this game. I wish it were Paramount instead since they have the movie rights and cartoon rights to Earthspark and such. Honestly removing the bayverse bots does me a favor since I'm not a fan of them but it eould have been nice to potentially see Bumblebee movie and RotB designs in the future as well as Earthspark designs but I don't see that happening with Netflix in charge. I'm also extremely warru of how much they're actually going to support this game. I wouldn't be surprised if they only add a couple more characters and then it's dead again within a year– especially with the stupid Netflix account requirement. I guess time will tell.
NaSMaX
Can anyone actually unlock a core mastery? I bought the module in the store but the game is not recognizing it.

Ok so I just got my first 2 star bot and have progressed far into the first campaign, but I have a little issue. Whenever I want to choose a nickname so I can join a team and fight arenas, it displays a message saying I no longer have Internet access, when I actually have. Does anyone else have this problem and if so, is there a solution?
Sleeplash
So, after getting the first 2 star bot during the first campaing, I realized I now had access to a 2 star bot shop (Or it could be because i leveled up my account, idk), so i'm guessing (hoping, actually) that you will get access to a 3 star shop after making more progress on the story?

Been playing Earth Wars since FTF ended but am enjoying this Netflix revival – it sure runs a helluva lot smoother now than when Kabam left it to die. It's weird starting over with 1 star bots though. I want my 5 Star Megatronus back lol
Gears
Its fun getting back into this game and Deadend is awesome
Jetfire83
Agreed. I don't really know if the more stylized series (Animated, EarthSpark, Prime, Cyberverse, etc.) would work in this style. I think the various anime series (Headmasters, RID2001, Unicron Trilogy, etc.) and the Cybertron game trilogy would be the best fits.

They forgot a Bayverse bot on a screenshot. Oops.
Kidding aside, wonder why Bayverse was removed. Issues with Paramount, I guess?
If they plan on continuing this, they should consider other universes like Legacy is doing.
Q Prime
Been playing for a few day, and thoughts:
Characters: Despite the addition of Chromia and Dead End, the removal of the Bayverse bots really makes the combat encounters repetitive due to a lower variety of bots. Would’ve been nice if they also added a few more bots to balance it out, but hopefully we get more in the future. Also, this would’ve been a great opportunity for them to refresh the character models to be based on the modern generations ones, seeing as almost every character in the game has been redone in a singular aesthetic since rather than the hodgepodge of design influences currently seen.
Game design: It would be nice if it was easier to unlock bots, as after the first six levels you seemingly can only buy bots (and you don’t get much of the bot-buying currency) or get one by 100%ing a chapter, which leads on to my next complaint. Exploring alternate routes post-chapter 1 is near-impossible for a long time after first beating it, as they feature 3* bots of a rating at least three times as much as the lowest route, and after having almost completed the first campaign I still don’t have access to those which means I can only do the basic route for the time being. Blocking is also sometimes a bit slow to respond.
Overall a fairly fun (if mindless) game with a few flaws but nothing game breaking.
Also, I have an issue in that the game is preventing me from playing the Fog of War thing, with a red lock being in the corner yet no error message as to why that is. Can anyone help?
Arvegtor
So, a question for those who can actually play this game: does the fog of war have any story, and if it does, what is it?
Lothar Hex
Cheers boss.

It's for the mastery stuff but that doesn't become available until level 18, had the same glitch on my end, once you hit 18, hit that tab, then go to mastery and spend your first point and it should go away
