Ozformers member doublespy has spotted Transformers G1 Reissue Minibots at a Cotton On clothing store in Australia.
Site admin griffin-of-oz stated the following:
Australia is only expected to get the Minibots from the various “Walmart” reissues, and now they have been found, as an online exclusive to the Cotton On clothing store chain.
Two weeks ago, the reissue Minibots (Bumblebee, Swerve, Tailgate, Outback) were found on the website of the clothing store Cotton On.
Unfortunately, they sold out in under 12 hours… before I had a chance to post it here as news.
Now it looks like they are back in stock, so before they sell out again, here are the details:
They are AU$15 each, and if you order more than $30 worth, you can collect them from a store for free (if one is close to you).
Plus, they also have about 10 licensed non-toy Transformers items (sleeping bag, money box, boogie board, towel, notebooks, lunchbox, hat).
It is unknown if the reissue Minibots will also show up anywhere else in Australia.
Just be aware that the Minibots appear to be the non-US International versions, with about a dozen languages on them, and no techspec on the back.

So, I was fortunate enough to walk in to a Wal-Mart and find a rack of Starscreams, Hot Rods, and Devastators. Bought all three. However, I haven't seen the mini-bots and I've been out of the loop a bit… have these hit the US with decent saturation?

I think the real question, is the US getting shaft on these in stores? I might have to call on the folks in Australia it help get 2 of Bumblebee. Walmart fucked this up completely.

The UK shares the same queen as Australia … why cant we share the same G1 reissues too ;(

Awesome, thanks for the heads up! Wish there was 2 versions of bumblebee(g1 toy head version) but I still ordered all 4 of them. You can get a $10 voucher if you sign up to the website so thats a nice discount too!

It would be funny as hell if Hasbro puts like 4 Outbacks in each box and sends them out there.

The simplest thing in the world would be to make Minibot reissues and make them new colours.
I'm sure they'd be a ton of fun to pick up if someone did that.
For example as a half-joke sell a Pink G1 Bumblebee and put "Laserbeak" on as the name with a Decepticon logo on the car.
Or whereever is feasible make the character an alternative colour they may have had since then – so a Black Bumblebee with a little bit of a stripe pattern on it for example. (like make the hood dents yellow and the underside back-plates & arms too).
Military Green Bumblebee or bright green as "Wasp" or even a bashed up looking "rusty deco" (as a Movie reference).
Then there is the idea of tying the colours to the iconography of he shop they are sold in so Bathing Ape Minibots say in coloured camo deco.
There is also plenty of opportunity to reference Go Bots colours or make G2 shiny deco would be great or black decos of those who didn't have them.
Military Green Powerglide would be nice for example.
I think it would be cheap – fun and very collectable to do this with the minibots – I know I've been hoping for a long time to have the other minibots coloured to match the Keychain black ones.
So yeah more minibots – but in other colours please.

They looks nice but not completly G1 of course.

Am I the only one that wants the original battlemask version? That one is Bumblebee to me. One in yellow, and one in red. The ones on ebay are too expensive… and have flaking tires.

As much as I\'d want to keep them sealed in the package, I won\'t be able to stop myself…and experience a flashback from 3 decades ago.

A fitting destination for Outback.
EDIT: PLEASE POST A PICTURE OF OUTBACK ACTUALLY IN THE OUTBACK. THAT WOULD BE PERFECT.

I'm happy for collector's everywhere but I'm also sad for you with the amount of text on the card. It totally takes away from the look.

What do we have here mate? Bumblebee?
WishfulThinking
Hmmmm….I wonder if Hasbro will break the Walmart agreement and sell the minibots through another vendor in the States…
Nevermore
Specifically, that's European packaging, what with the EAN barcode and all.
From the website's source code:
Bumblebee: EAN # 5010993514595
Swerve: EAN # 5010993514588
Outback: EAN # 5010993514540
Tailgate: EAN # 5010993514564
Wonder if we're gonna see them in Europe, what with Bumblebee being a licensed Volkswagen product and all.
