Thanks to 2005 Boards member SG hailstorm for giving us the heads up of the Transformers: Cyberverse 1-Step Changers Wave 2 Spotted At US Retail.
While the first wave of Cyberverse 1-step toys were just repaints of RID 1-step toys, these new wave of 1-step toys bring us new original molds of Bumblebee, Optimus Prime and Starscream.
The figures were spotted at Meijer store 174 in Mason, Michigan. Happy hunting!

The first Beast Wars Basics were basically one steps too, but they were actually really nicely detailed and had much better quality plastics than we see now. Cyberverse Hot Rod is thin to the point of being transparent. SMH. They CAN be done well. They just kinda…. aren't right now.
I really wonder if this current level of generally poor quality Cyberverse and Bumblebee movie line gimmick products will be able to compete for shelf space with their new little BotBots brothers. Same age demographic after all.

Welcome to the site dude!

I'm totally going to buy the G1 characters not based on the nuRID designs. Fast transformation bots are what I always wanted as a kid!

I agree there are too many 1-steps. I seem them on the shelf and get excited…but then realize they're 1-steps. However, I picked up the Cyberverse Blurr for my 6-year old and he loves it more than other complicated ones. I guess they have their place as the gateway toys to get kids into Transformers.
Brurr is actually a decent looking 1-step

I wouldn't say "Happy Hunting" regarding this sighting… more like, "Good luck finding anything else in the future!"
Frankly speaking, I think they've made too many of these 1-step Optimus, BB, etc. But the target demographic is new customers, so I guess this is just what you do. Every. Year.
