Depends on the episodes, but in particular, the Origami episode, Gumbus, and the Skate Competition/Mall one are the main 3 you need to see for now besides the opening episode. Fast and the Furriest is straight up fun though too. The News one with the worm is decent too. But for right now, the main sub-story is with the origami ninjas, but the payoff for that may not come until later, and the Gumbus episode seems to set up some potential stuff later too. Repo was pretty fun too, and it is a the episode that takes place before Fast.

Im about 4 eps in on tmnt. Im not taking it too seriously in a light hearted kinda way. Love the animation . Like a oil painting come to life. The comedy has ranged from lol to chuckling to falling flat. Still not sure if im going to stick with it with naruto, dragon prince, star wars resistance and dragon ball super getting most my free cartoon chill time

But there were also 23 minute shows. Transformers isn't like any of those shows however, if you look closely at how CN have constructed their shows they have moved away from 23 minute episodes to 11 minutes. I'm asking what they think about children.
When I was younger Transformers was 23 minutes long all the time but today it's half that. Ben 10 we as 23 minutes long and had an overarching story line but this reboot geared towards a new generation not only is 11 minutes long but has no overarching story but is completely different in tone.
So the question about what CN thinks about kids is an important one. Some of their shows like Regualar Show and Adventure Time dealt with more mature issues but they still had an older audience. Does CN have the confidence that children can handle complex issues? If so why cut down the length of their shows?
Even the new TMNT show is 11 minutes long. There were shows like Tom and Jerry and SpongeBob but therw were also shows that thrived at a longer run time. It's an important question to ask and similar to the debate about the relevance of toys in the age of tablets and mobile phones.

That show is so good. Watch it! But do so ready to laugh. It's a fun ride and not meant to be taken seriously at all. But OMG it's so much fun. The Stockboy episode is a treat too. And so much other straight up fun stuff.
And there are some back ground interesting larger storylines developing in it too. But they are very background for now.

Thanks, ill check it out. Have always wished the war for cybertron games got a series
MEGATRON__210
Thanks for imput. Im currently debating a similar issue with rise of tmnt.

Yeah, it seems season 2 might start to bring that up more. At least from the implications of this season so far in background info.
Though one of the previous episodes really helped establish why on that front with the non-interference star trek style approach.
But a setup like that usually means something is going to force their hand into the world finding out. Like how Star Trek goes, the heavier the message of "non-interference" the more likely it means they're going to get discovered or have to interfere because of some reason.

YET.

It's awesome because there are no humans in it!

This finale feels very Beast Wars, given the emphasis on finding the Ark before the Decepticons. The nuances are different but the overall plot remains – still, from what I gather it fits with the overall season arc and it is nice to see Shockwave step up as the big villain – it's been his year, really, between this and the comics. I'd love to see some reference to him planning it all out, step by step, so everything the team does is just playing into his hands… hand.
Deadend
Yup. But also even if they did, like many of the other stasis pods, they could have been scattered too if they were.
But we would have heard more about Megatron between the allspark's leaving cybertron and the Ark takeoff if that were the case. That's a blankspot entirely. And we know already that Starscream wasn't on the Ark when it crashed. Soundwave is still unknown, and other seekers weren't either. Shockwave obviously wasn't either. So that only leaves possibly megatron, or Megatron is somewhere else.
We also know that likely other decepticons weren't on the ark either though. The autobots were in stasis and easy targets, so there would be no survivors, and none of the seekers know where it is either. So if they were on it, they'd have rough estimates of trajectories based on entry to check different locations. Or would have a location responder to track or something.
So that seems to point at the fact Megatron either was hidden on it and got jettisoned with the stasis pods, or Soundwave was, or that Megatron and maybe Soundwave went on their own journey already to find the allspark leaving Shockwave in charge.
Soundwave is another that's suspiciously not had timing reveals outside of the Allspark scene.
And they have been seemingly merging lore, which seems to point to some kind of G1, Animated, Movie hybrid too. Which points at that maybe Megatron is in human custody being studied, plus his travels would make for some interesting side story building and character stuff. Contrasting his interactions with alien worlds to the autobot side we already saw.
The biggest question outright though is what caused the damage that caused pods to get jettisoned. Only some were it seems. So that implies something breached the Ark that'd cause some to get sucked out or otherwise jettisoned.
Lots of possibilities, we'll have to wait and see how it unfolds!
HeroicC300
so I'm wondering when Prowl will appear, given how he's getting pushed in wave 3
janeDoe001
Well they could be pulling a G1 and have Megatron's team board the ark in an attempt to take it over and end up in stasis himself.
But we'll find out in episode 17 if that's the case or not.

There may not be much in the way of that tbh. Though I could see them approaching the memory aspect that way some too. But story stuff seems to deny some fuller aspects. Megatron can't exactly remember stuff he wasn't there for, and this season has a heavy emphasis on Shockwave like Megatron hasn't been around since somewhere near where the ark left or the ark was traveling.
But we will likely get that part filled out and explained as the show progresses next season, so there will likely be some mixed in with the autobot stuff.

My kiddos have been enjoying this one, but they keep asking when the Prime Wars Trilogy will continue… "STARSCREAM IS BACK DAD!!!"

I think it's worth checking out. I loved TF Prime and RID was a chore for me to watch but occasionally liked an episode that had to do with a larger story or had TF Prime characters in it.
This show starts a little slow (especially the first few episodes) but I appreciate what they're trying to do – telling Cybertron history thru recovering Bumblebee's memories. I was afraid that was going to be the whole show but according to these ep descriptions, it's not, fortunately. I'm not a huge fan of the animation style but I like the universe they're setting up. I really enjoyed the previous episode with a pre-war Cybertron – too bad that wasn't just what this was and slowly lead into it.
The episodes are short but they're ongoing – not preferred but I'd rather have this than endless 20 minute bad stories. Like drawing out 20 minutes of Sideswipe learning to respect other people's property and feelings (RID).
Sometime the battles are good and sometimes, "what?!?!" but overall I've enjoyed the show. The first few, Bumblebee is really annoying but he gets better. Mostly. They got Megatron right…. Optimus is kind of a flop tho It's like he's trying too hard to be Peter Cullen.
Hope this helps!!

I thought season 2 was gonna be in Megatron's POV. (which would actually be cool to see outside of the shattered glass universe)
jD001
Deadend
Yup.
And season 2 is likely to have some really fun stuff too! Looks like they've already been setting up groundwork for it in this season in the background.

Not gonna lie we went from a masterpiece like Prime, to this. The episodes are too short and we are alrady at the series finale?
jackgaughan
Looney Tunes was 7 minute shorts, so was Tom and Jerry.
Ren and Stimpy, Powerpuff girls, Johnny Bravo, Spongebob, Write home to mother, Dexters Lab, and Sakred Diamondz were all 11 minute cartoons, and they were from 20 years ago, so kids back then are whatever negative attributes you're implying about kids these days.
