Some items sure take their time to be found, but patience is part of our collector’s life. We are glad to report that the Walgreens Exclusive Power Of The Primes Wreck-Gar has been found in the US.
Power Of The Primes Wreck-Gar is a remold and repaint of the Takara Unite Warriors Deluxe Groove mold. Previously spotted in Canada and Taiwan, it was finally found in the US by Instagram user mcucollector24 at a Walgreens in Sacramento, northern California for $17.99.
There you are guys, let the hunt begin! Time to dash to your local Walgreens to try to grab Wreck-Gar for your collections!

Haha good eye! I repainted a KO oversized Legends Hound for that Detritus but wouldn’t mind seeing an official version, especially since that KO is way under-articulated.
Jacob Knight
@allew I SEE THAT DETRITUS!

I\'ve Never Had The Urge To Buy A Wreck Gar Figure But I Got To Say That POTP Figure Looks Really Good.

Don't know about the transformation part (been a while since I have had anything out. I'd say that Lucky Rogers is better for many reasons, cheaper through Toy Dojo, mass produced, better material. I think Maiden was hand painted and cast out of plaster or something (can't remember what material). The nice thing with Maiden though was all the options and colors. He did all kinds of different versions in numerous colors, but they were expensive, and I think a lot of people got burned and received nothing. Not sure how I was lucky enough to not only always get my emails returned, but also get my product with a couple extra heads as an apology for taking so long.
Lucky Rogers has some great details, and for the price is well worth it, but there was some charm to Maiden. If I could paint worth a damn, I would buy about 10 Lucky Rogers kits.

Lucky Rogers…
I don't even know if these guys are still in existence.
Correct me if I'm wrong about this but I felt Lucky Rogers is better?
Well at least one don't have to remove the Bot heads when you're transforming these to their alternate mode right?

Yea Maiden made some nice kits, but were all hand done (I believe), and took a while to get (if ever for some). I think he was blocked from these boards for failure to deliver. I felt lucky to get two full sets and about three other partial armor sets. Pretty surprised that Lucky Rogers didn’t make at least repainted for some of the other versions of the mold.

I came in during Titans return and got these during the CW purge … before they went back up in price. Wish I still had my jet blastoff thought. Anyway the true Unicorn stuff is the convention stuff …Predacus/Thunder Mayhem/Toxitron. Megatronia to boot.
jamarmiller
oh I have those, I must be missing the Maidenjapan stuff not the lucky roger stuff.
Yeah those lucky roger sets are good. I wish they would have made more.
I wish hasbro would give us a new unique Wreck gar mold though too

toydojo.com appears to have both sets available on sale for $9.99 each, an amazing price for a good product!

3rd party upgrade kits for official product are unfortunately not as bountiful as they used to be. The Generations/Reveal the Shield Wreck-Gar is still the king of Junkion army building for me, as with a couple of repaints, 3 official remolded headsculpts, a bunch of different 3rd party heads by Maidenjapan and Lucky Roger and a reprolabels/toyhax sticker sheet, some repurposed weapons and you can get a nice gang! I just need Nancy as well as an offical Detritus!

Really is strange that companies didn't jump on this, and aside from Maiden Japan (which were tough to get) and the other one (I forget the name), there weren't more companies producing upgrades for the RTS version either. That version had so many places that lent itself to upgrades too.

I bought mine (not at $7.99 as above) back then upon release, solely based on the assumption that 3rd parties would produce some head sculpts for Junkions…
And that I could have more new characters to add to my existing Junkions.
Looks like it's not gonna happen yeah?

Found at Ross in Tampa FL today for $7.99

That's Wreck-Gar, not Vroom.

Vrrroooommmm!!!!!

Thank you, I looked at all the methods of placing the axe weapon and having it almost the same as the Reveal the Shield 2011 Wreck-Gar was the best I came up with.
WinstoBot
Love the way you mounted the folded axe. Best placement idea so far.

I discovered another quality control (QC) issue with Wreck-Gar, his back wheel does not transform properly. Apparently the passage way that the metal pin occuies is not in a straight line, and this causes the wheel assembly piece to not sit properly when Wreck-Gar is transformed into motorcycle mode. This appears to be a problem for all the copies of Wreck-Gar that have been released. I did a short video showing the solution for fixing this problem. It is found here:
I hope others will find better success in fixing Wreck-Gar\'s back wheel then I have.

I wouldn't really mind losing complexity. It depends on how much articulation we would lose though.
