Known as ‘the definitive event for the licensing industry in Europe’, Brand Licensing Europe Expo 2018 began today (10/09/2018) at the Olympia Grand in London.
We have received a word that Hasbro is attending the event to promote their upcoming movie Transformers: Bumblebee.
The company is showcasing various toys from the film as well as some never-before-seen concept art which led to the creation of Bumblebee. The movie is advertised as “… appeals to the whole family with a clear story. It will delight our younger fans but our adult fans will enjoy it too as it has plenty of nostalgic references”.
Partnering with UK retailers Argos, Asda, The Entertainer and Amazon, Hasbro is promoting their new toyline which includes licensed RC and diecast vehicles from Simba Dickie. We were also informed that much like Transformers: The Last Knight, an exclusive toyline will be available through Asda. This yet to be named Asda Exclusive line will launch in November.
Rubies Masquerade will also produce transforming costumes based on Bumblebee and Optimus Prime.
Deichmann will produce a movie exclusive line of shoes which will be released at the end of the year to coincide with the movie. Additionally, United Colors Of Benetton and Original Marines will carry clothing items based on Transformers: Bumblebee.
Ravensburger will promote Transformers themed 3D Puzzles with their 4S Vision line as well as 3D Night Lights.
Hasbro is also promoting Transformers: Cyberverse and Transformers: Rescue Bots Academy during the event.
All of the above and more can be seen at Booth D40 – Grand Hall until 11th October. Stay tuned with TFW2005 for more info and images as we receive them.
