Direct from the Gigapower Facebook page comes pictures of their newest entry into their Gigasuar line, HQ-04 Gaudenter (Masterpiece-styled Swoop).
As per usual, GigaPower goes above and beyond for their versions of the vaunted Dinobots. Their Gigasaurs are the largest versions of the Dinobots available, typically have more of a toy-based aesthetic and are massively impressive and imposing display pieces.
Gaudenter features intricate and detailed paint apps over the entirety of the figure, numerous chrome pieces of varying colors, as well as an impressive array of the weapons associated with the classic character of Swoop. Giga did go one step further and added in their hallmark flame effects for not only the dual swords, but also flame effects to simulate the rockets firing!
Gaudenter comes in both blue and red torso versions and will be released in both chrome and metallic finishes. This amazing figure is listed for pre-order from our sponsors and should be available in the coming months.

Was watching "Desertion of the Dinobots part 2" this afternoon, and was surprised by this…

Seeing Swoop with a handgun, I had to give Gaudenter one. After thinking about it, I gave him the rifle from Badcube's Steamroll (preferred MP Sideswipe's rifle with him anyway)

Bombusbee is pretty good with replacement parts, it is Giga that is the trouble. You can try ShowZ as well, but I doubt they will have any more luck getting parts out of Giga. BBB is probably being quiet because they just don't have any response from Giga to share with you.
Wish you luck finding the parts. You may be stuck trying to super-glue something back together until you see pre-orders open up again for the next round of Swoop.
jbwkkl
Yeah, got mine through BBB and haven't had much luck getting responses from them either.
Thanks, I'll give them a try

You can contact show-z potentially about potential parts. Even if you didn't buy from them.

No one ever has good luck with parts from GigaPower. Most retailers struggle to get answers from Giga much less replacement parts. It is possible, but you really need to get luck with stars aligning and Giga currently producing what you're looking for. Submit a request with your original retailer and prepare for a long, long wait.
If you got yours off e-Bay or don't have an original retailer? There is no customer service e-mail or website. Best you could do would be to talk to your favorite retailer and see if they could contact Giga for you. Some retailers will help you out, but they can only do so much and Giga is notorious for being non-responsive.

Has anyone recently had luck with replacement parts?

Swoop took a nosedive off his perch this AM, and snapped the rocket's peg clean off

I need to find a better chrome red, but I think I like this setup

Used tamiya "pure metallic red", and sky grey

His face does look a bit off, but I feel none of the Swoop faces look good. I partially blame that on how he looks in the actual show, his mug was not handsome.

I have the Blue swoop, but wouldn’t mind if it was Red swoop only being available… Red actually looks better as the colours match, but I remember them from toon so went with blue View attachment 30320796

I've thought about doing something like this to make it look better, but I'm disappointed in the face sculpt and came to the conclusion that no matter what I'd do, I wouldn't be satisfied. I like that Gigapower gave two of the five new head sculpts, but I think Swoop needed it the most of all. I was hoping with the last round of reissues they would have given the other three some new faces. It would be cool if one of the few guys that make quality 3D printed parts could model a G1 face for this guy or copy the Fans Toys or New Age sculpt and adapting it, I don't see that being difficult. I'm pretty sure that most everyone that bought this figure would instantly buy some face replacements if they were available.

Good point. I'll try repainting the black area, and paint the face light grey for examples
magmatron
Maybe it would look better to paint the black parts of the helmet red? I feel this makes it look like he has a large forehead with a small beanie on too.

Just curious about others thoughts. Was aiming for something a little more G1. Used the angry face for now, but removed the raised point between his eyebrows, then repainted with tamiya chrome silver.

Before I work on the other face, I wanted to see if others thoughts the silver worked, or should I try a light grey?

Glad to hear it was a common issue, and not just my bad luck. After posting the question, I did manage to remove the gold panel completely. Now I can see how to glue it, without affecting the rest of the thigh articulation.
luckyman76
This was a common problem with not only those parts but the spotlights on the stand included. I just glued mine back. Not happy with it but it solved the problem. Had an issue with Superator where the front claws would not move for dino mode.
jbwkkl
Sorry for bumping this thread, but just got mine today and already have an issue I hope someone can help me with.

Is there an easy way to disassemble his thigh? This panel popped loose, and I'd like to add a little glue to secure it, but not sure how to do it without potentially gluing everything else there

Impressive!! Kudos bro!!

I prefer red, but blue is cool too. Technically they are both G1 accurate. Blue is just the cartoon version.
Only had two dinobots as a kid, Swoop and Slag. And so having red Swoop is well,…just kind of special.
I also prefer the red look in general. But I don't mind having more than one version either.
Plus, it's always nice to have one for alt mode and one for bot mode.

I've never seen this before. Interesting little piece of third party history.

Its the very dated Bullsfire Airstrike.
