The official Transformers Instagram and Facebook accounts have uploaded a new Leaked From Cybertron image featuring the stage 1 production prototype of Studio Series SS-22 Dropkick.
We have several shots of the early unpainted prototype (with several clear plastic parts) of Dropkick, one of the main Decepticons from the Bumblebee Movie.
Today’s image follows previous detailed views of Studio Series Blackout and Grimlock & Power of the Primes Dinobots Slash, Sludge, Slug (G1 Slag), Snarl, Swoop, Grimlock, Predaking, Evolution Rodimus Prime, Studio Series Jazz, Brawl, Grimlock. the Optimus Prime’s Transformers Trading Card, and Studio Series Bumblebee VW Beetle.
Check the image after the jump and then let us know your impressions on the 2005 Boards!

i'm starting to be concerned over why every image we've seen of dropkick has his legs not tabbed together

This still looks like a cool figure, but man those Hasbro "leaked" pictures are terrible. Highlighting all that clear plastic holding joints together, highlighting the the shins not closing all the way, clumsy framing and missing the focus on anything important, this feels very much like it didn't know what to say so it just fired off a few quick pictures of whatever.

Even going off that logic, I still think it's a good idea to leave major kibble from the aircraft modes on the bot mode, just as something to visually communicate that they have a third mode. It feels like they're trying to get a balance of AoE/TLK's more cohesive and humanoid designs with the believable, kibble-wearing designs of the OT – Although personally, I think only Starscream gets that balance right with a generous amount of jet parts and a clean body making for an overall pretty great design. Meanwhile the other three bots we've seen are still a lot less messy than the typical Bay designs of yesteryear, but could still use some more vehicle parts. At least that's how I see it.

Cuz its cool
Fallout
the kibble on them is frustrating because in the movieverse, we know they completely imitate their alt mode… so why does transforming from a car to a robot suddenly give them rotors/wings and car chests? those parts have to transform into something entirely different for each alt mode, so… it just doesn't make sense.

There Decepticon muscle cars. By making them Stunticons Hasbro would also have avoided unnecessary scale debates and nerd rage for triple changing figures. Hasbro definitely dropped the ball on on that one.

But why…? There's no point in making them Stunticons if they were never meant to be Stunticons.

Yeah, that was my first thought too. This Leaked from Cybertron thing would be a lot more effective at building hype if they'd do it like a day before they're revealed at a con or whatever, but I guess getting it out before the figure is on shelves is something. :/
He's got his cockpit on his chest and the rotor assembly hanging off his back. That's how we figured out he was a triplechanger from the first reveal image.
But yeah Kockdrip and Mad Shatter should've still been designed with more kibble from both alt-modes. Frankly, it feels like there's more Cobra kibble than Javelin kibble on him in particular.

Honestly after seeing what were getting, I wish Blitzwing was the only triple changer in the Bee movie. Shatter and Dropkick should have been Stunticons instead. It could have been Wildrider and Dragstrip as the fembot.

The challenge is on for the first movie triple changer toy.
Who will be first?
Hasbro? Alien something? WJ? Black Apple? Toyworld?

I am surprised to be disappointed was actually hoping we get our first movie triple changer figure that is not in legend class for once looks good but it be nice to have triple changer maybe third party can do it better.,
They did with movie prime

Where are the car part details? So disappointed that this is not a triple-changer!

And your point is this page isn't acknowledging the fact dropkick is a thing which your right we have known about its about the first hand look at the gray model.
Theres A difference between
" Leaked from Cybertron Deluxe Dropkick Prototype "
And
" Studio series Deluxe Dropkick Revealed "
Or
" Studio Series Wave 4 Dropkick In Package "
Dinobot Snarl

Is this the first time one of these has been posted before the figure came out?
Theres a deluxe listing for her. What mode though, who knows.
SPLIT LIP
It doesn't look like a bad figure, but I don't like how gangly it is compared to the movie model.
I really hope we get Shatter, though. Her big wing/intake kibble and sleeker proportions would fit a jet mode better than Dropkick's stout body does a helicopter.

I just hope it\'s accurate to how he looks
