Loopaza Mega Store on Facebook, which has proved to be a reliable source in the past, has updated a list with new upcoming Takara Tomy Releases for February, 2019.
As we should expect, the new War For Cybertron: Siege line is coming to the Japanese market too. It will use the “SG” code for all their releases. Takara Power Of The Primes line will continue with PP-44 Punch/Counterpunch as a regular release, giving collectors another opportunity to grab this mold, if you couldn’t order it via Amazon yet. The full list (with prices) is as follows:
- SG-01 Firedrive – 900 Yen ($8.00)
- SG-02 Lionizer – 900 Yen ($8.00)
- SG-03 Roadhandler & Swindler – 1800 Yen ($16.00)
- SG-04 Sideswipe – 3500 Yen ($31.00)
- SG-05 Autobot Cog – 3500 Yen ($31.00)
- SG-06 Optimus Prime – 5500 Yen ($49.00)
- SG-07 Ultra Magnus – 8500 Yen ($76.00)
- PP-44 Punch / Counterpunch – 4500 Yen ($40.00)
You can check out the original image after the jump, and then sound off on the 2005 Boards!

Which is why "Nothing" is what we got with Machimima.
Beyond that Hasbro feels like the CHUG lines can sell themselves (since they basically have been the last 12 years). But when it comes to children they regard them as stupid and just need a silly cartoon to advertise their "Happy Meal" quality Cyberverse toys.
Sorrow Six Star
Or the IDW reboot that’s happening about the same time Siege is coming out.
Windsweeper II
We probably will.
The fact that we got a cartoon for every Prime Wars subline seems like they might be comitted to idea of a webtoon for the generations line.

My PotP wave one stuff turned was delivered on December 1st, so I reckon WfC:S wave one will likely come on December 1st too. I might book the day off work.
Annino
Yes it was bullshit. Though i liked Megatronus plot twist where he actually did all those bad things in the name of LOVE, that was unexpected lol.

Hasbro seems to be forgetting that MEDIA is the #1 way to sell toys…* For example, I've made several Legends purchases I wouldn't have otherwise just from looking at scans of the included comics.
* Yes, I know we have live action movies, rescue bots, and RID / Cyberverse to sell their lines. I am referring to the Generations lines.
jamarmiller
Still I wish we had something, id take Machimima over nothing
Neko-bot77
Nowadays the kid-friendly line(s) are the ones that get cartoons on mainstream TV. Generations only ever had that horrible experiment that was Machinima, and we all know how that went…
rapid_fire
Why is Cyberverse the main line with a cartoon, and Seige isn't?
Jtprime17
Hasbro said the same thing for power of the primes at nycc and wave 1 deluxes popped up at target the next month in November so I got a feeling we will see seige wave 1 around the same time so November.
Monari
Wait, weren't the Hasbro Siege figures scheduled to come out in the Spring of 2019? Is it possible that Takara will release their stuff first? I'm pretty sure February is still winter right?
Kai Wa
I am just curious. As far as I can see no one has made a comparison video on YouTube. I know that the figurs are completely identical but normally a few people still do such reviews.
SoundwaveSuperior
Yeah, some of them have come out. Why?
Kai Wa
Are some of the potp takara figures actually released jet?
SoundwaveSuperior
We'll probably see them at NYCC next month. That was where they revealed the Terrorcons last year.
Neko-bot77
Are "EX" releases exclusives? I'm not sure… *Shrug* well then I have no idea, other than "they can put whatever price they want on their products". Perhaps it's inflated to account for the people who won't be able to get the Amazon one and will flock to TT's release.
Afterburner
At least this long.
Lazerwave
I mean, how long can they keep Siege Decepticons a secret?
WereDragon EX
Except he isn't an exclusive in Japan.
Thundershot
Hopefully we eventually get all four of each team in the next few years. The Air Strike Patrol fall all be repainted into other characters with no issue. Also Mudslinger and Powertrain can pull double duty. That’s not even counting the Japanese repaints.
