Transformers: Cyberverse is ready to premiere this September 1st, and via Cartoon Network YouTube Channel we have now a new clip of the series. entitled “Entering Stasis”.
After the trailer and the first and second clips, now we have another promising video of the newest Transformers cartoon. On this clip we can see one of Bumblebee’s lost memories, featuring Optimus Prime and Grimlock together with Bumblebee looking for Energon.
We don’t want to give away too much, so if you don’t mind minor spoilers you can check out the video below (region locked outside US) and some screencaps after the jump. Don’t forget to share your impressions on the 2005 Boards!

I want to see a Transformers cartoon on [adult swim] Toonami one day.
KayODave
Well, it’s… better than the Machinima series.

Thanks…that just so happens to be one of the search results Google Australia blocked…thanks Australian government…

Everytime I here "Teletron" I think of Ratrap. "It's Teletran."
Anyway, the more I see of the show, the better it looks. But oof. Prime needs a bit more emotion in his lines. The voice sounds good, at least, but he felt very flat.

I can only speak for myself but I felt Prime focused too much on the human characters. Of course, it didn't help that I didn't like the human characters this time around (I found Miko insufferable, Jack boring and Raphael okay if not for his super-genius shtick).

I've checked and this one should work: convert2mp3.net – Online Video converter – Convert Youtube, Dailymotion, Vevo, Clipfish and MyVideo videos online to MP3, MP4 and more formats
The site automatically saves a converted file to its server for four hours so you should be able to skip the converting process by clicking on my link but if not then you can just convert the video yourself using the site.
The site also seems free of anything intrusive or malicious popping up.

None of the downloaders work for me, since they use my computer as the basis…and then they run into the region locking too.
Any chance of a Google Drive or Dropbox link?

I'm on another rewatch of G1 right now and I can confirm that I only heard them say it that way once in a very early ep.
Scoff
In G1, yeah. It does sometimes differ from incarnation to incarnation. For example, Beast Wars used the latter pronunciation for most of its run. It was only in the second part of the finale that they addressed the inconsistency with G1's pronunciation.
While we're on the topic of continuity, here's a fun little fact: the writers for Beast Machines weren't allowed to watch Beast Wars despite their series being intended as a direct sequel to it. To this day, I have no idea what the logic behind that decision was. Probably none.
Scoff
Well, not always. It was G1, after all.

Sorry, perhaps it's hard to tell the difference as a non native. So it's [trɑ:n] instead of [trɔn]?

I couldn't find any so I eventually resorted to downloading the clip on Youtube with an online media converter.
It may take a try before you find one that can do it (I think the exclusive setting prevents some of them from working) and I don't recommend it if you feel unsafe using sites that have a chance of opening tabs or pop ups of a dubious nature.
Still, it is an option and it worked for me so I thought I'd mention it.

Any change we get a mirrored clip for those who live outside the US? Thanks!

I'm intrigued. I'm down for Autobots having adventures in space, discovering brave new worlds.
I'll admit something seems a little off about Optimus Prime. It's not a bad voice or a bad performance, it just feels more like someone doing an impression of Peter Cullen, rather than an actual voice. It's just a nitpick, but it would be nice to see this voice sound more natural as the series progresses.

Is this the Transformers "mainline", though? In other words, is there a mainline anymore? It seems they're just targeting different demographics; diversifying, if you will. Some might say the movies are the "mainline" these days. And PW trilogy may have been aimed at collectors because it was based on G1, but Generations (roughly) occupies the same space as Cyberverse on the store shelf, as well as in media, both comic and animation.
My point is, the quality of animation has gone downhill for our beloved franchise across the board. Personally, I've never liked the American stylized cartoons. I think they look goofy and kiddish. I grew up watching Robotech and Akira, and stopped watching TF animation after Armada. And simply because I personally prefer Japanese cell animation, doesn't mean excellently written, CGI/cell hybrids don't exist today, like the new Voltron.
This is all just one man's opinion, but hopefully Hasbro will someday engage in direct to DVD projects by outsourcing animation groups that know what they're doing. Like the few DC projects that were actually well done, and forget Cartoon Network and Machinima.
Kids are smart, they'll find it. These days, good animation doesn't need Cartoon Network, just like good music doesn't need MTV.

Have any non region-locked mirrors popped up yet?

I second this. My VPN is glitching out on youtube.
