Apple’s iTunes has added a preview of Optimus Prime issue 23. The three page preview sets a different tone than the climatic Lost Light – but two things we can see in the preview is that we’re finally going to see Devisiun, and we’re going to see the resolution of the plotlines involving Spike and Jazz.
Check out the preview attached to this post.

This artwork is awful.
Allenspurs
that is some of the most atrocious "artwork" I have every seen. it looks like a bad fan made comic
Dinobot Snarl
Let's see here, ah yes Decepticons were revolutionaries fighting for better treatment who later turned into crusading Nazis, under the control of an a once Lenin leader and now Stalin like Dictator with a Saddom style torture squad keeping his troops focused.
The USA like Autobots whom haven't always been on the right side of justice themselves, now disagree with their Outlook and fight to protect other races and themselves from destruction at the hands of the Decepticons.
They Transform as much as the plot necessitates. But Tarn might Transform more off page…

Lmao, Shockwave wouldn't know that, there are posts on Allspark from 2015 making fun of him for not actually reading Redemption (Which also features the dinobots obviously). And then making dumb complaints because he misread a story summary. Something he does here a lot to.
Its been a thing for years, never stops being funny though.

The Dinobots are borderline unrecognizeable by G1-standards design-wise in IDW, except for Grimlock. They've been that way for years.

The art and the colors are both terribly wrong. I did not even recognize Slag… and Trypticon I think was even better detailed in the sunbow cartoon!

Maybe Frenzy and Rumble (are those guys still around?) will pass by and be all:
Frenzy: Oh, look, Jazz got jailed by humans! What's that all about?
Rumble: Hey, didn't he kill a cop way back when?
Frenzy: Oh yeah, we brainwashed this cop guy, gave him a super-powered gun based on Megatron and threw him out there for a laugh! Ha! That was hilarious, right?
But then, someone overhears it and is like "…Oh hell."
Mudslide
Why punish yourself like that?

I like Spike Witwicky better when he's Fortress Maximus too, but we can't just get everything we want now can we…

God, I miss those threads. They were fun while they lasted.

In my experience, most Transformers fans would prefer the transformers just step on the GI Joes and move on.

Plus while Galvatron was constantly being a douche to them, the humans were willing to ally themselves with Decepticons after Dark Cybertron just because their leader switched sides. I'm surprised that the autobots haven't continued to mention how stupid that was.
There better be a good reason why the Dinobots aren't going to beat the colonists like piñatas if this story is two issues. Judging by the tone of the narration and how the Devisien organics' story contradicts that statement, I predict this is Slide. If that's true, her narrating this issue will either make me tolerate her like Pyra (2017 Annual) and the Mistress (OP#15), or it'll drag on like Qian's narration from OP#2 (Seriously, has anyone ever been curious about what Qian thinks?)
Zylly103
You know, everyone likes to harp on the "Jazz killed a human" thing, but I've felt for a long time that the Autobots especially keep failing to bring up the context of that. Namely that said police officer was going to kill Bumblebee in cold blood with a gun-derived from Megatron-tech. That's completely justifiable.
Instead, they treat it like he just randomly decided to pull the trigger on someone.
Dinoprime09
Well I\'m ready for some sweet poetic justice here with the colonists attacking this may just provide the opportunity Jazz needs to show who\'s in the wrong
YoungPrime
Hey I'd liked that Mighty Orbots cartoon (the 4 or 5 episodes that aired anyway). Wasn't one of them named "Crunch"? Guess the toys didn't sell well… Matter a fact, I don't recall anyone ever having those figures. Voltron fans wasn't having it.
YoungPrime
Wait, how many episodes are left while they're still entertaining Transformers being captured by annoying ass humans….?
Still haven't read an OP issue since #18 and at this point why bother.
Looking forward to finishing up LL though. Now that book, I'm gonna miss.

As far as humanity is concerned the mere presence of Transformers means trouble. Cause when their War came to Earth, it caused the deaths of a billion people.
It’s a sentiment that a multitude of races in the galaxy share when it comes to Cybertronians.
As for this particular arc, it’s going to conclude in issue 24. With #25 serving as a bookend to the entire continuity, being how it takes place after Unicron #6.
The Mad Demobot
Me thinks jazz will be the one to end the division because of Slide, but given how the finales are laid out that wont happen for one or more issues.
Hyoumaru
So help me out here.
Is it just POLITICS to say that Flint's ignoring the division line between Autobots and Decepticons? I know IDW gives more shades of gray than the two sides are traditionally portrayed as, but it feels like humans in large have just outright ignored the fact Cybertronians are largely divided into two seperate factions, one that tries to do good (traditionally, anyway) and one that's dead set on going out there and conquering and extorting other races.
But of course here comes Slide's little group to muddy that up even further. I hope you don't survive this issue Slide.
Black Convoy
I didn't like it first, but I have to admit her style grew on me after some time.
