Distributors of Paramount Pictures‘ movies in Sri Lanka hosted a small promo event during this weekend’s Lanka Comic Con to celebrate the upcoming Transformers: Bumblebee movie by director Travis Knight.
A trailer was shown to the attendees, but it turned out to be just the first trailer which we saw back in June. The trailer ended with a thunderous applause from the audience which solidifies the impact of the movie even on a small market. This comes after The Last Knight’s poor box-office performance in Sri Lanka.
Toyline for the movie will hit the market next month and official images of several toys were on display at the event. Though we have seen most of the images in recent past, the official stock images of Tiny Turbo Changers Series 4 (attached with this news post) were new to the best of our knowledge.
The wave consists of Volkswagen Bumblebee, Chopper Mode Dropkick, Grimlock, Optimus Prime, Swoop, Soundwave, [Car Mode] Dropkick, Dragonstorm, Autobot Ratchet, Megatron (ROTF), Scorn and [Car Mode] Shatter. We first saw the figures during San Diego Comic-Con 2018.
Old toys were also on sale at a 50% discount which even included toys from the 2007 movie in mint condition (ROTF/HFTD toys simply vanished within seconds).
This is the first time such an event took place in the country for the Transformers franchise. Official Worldwide Promo Tour for the movie will begin next month as well.

I am so happy to see that the tiny turbo changers have finally been noticed and given the chance to expand, in future HASBRO should progress these guys more into sets and more series:
my series 5 predictions:
Blitzwing (deception)
Galvatron (AOE)
Leadfoot (DOTM)
Topspin (DOTM)
Roadbuster (DOTM)
Bumblebee
Stinger (AOE)
Junkheap (AOE)
Jolt (ROTF)
Jazz
The Fallen (ROFT)
And for a set I would love to see a Lockdown’s ship storage case

For some reason I just want those Dinobots. I\'ll have to seek out a Slug from somewhere.Funny how thay\'ve gone back to calling Strafe Swoop now.
Galvatross
Interesting.

There are people here who decode the small codes printed on the blindbag. Therefore eliminating the need of taking a gamble. You'll know exactly what you'll find inside.
Quite a surprise for me. I even bought one.
Yep. He was specifically called Swoop instead of Strafe.
WEEGEE
Because even they know they're not fooling anyone with that.
Galvatross
Is there a reason in the article the name "Swoop" is being used and not "Strafe?"
Cykill 1
They still had toys from 2007?
ReadyParzivalOne
There’s blind bags series 4? I’ve only ever found series 1
GrimLocke
I’m into the bottom row, plus Dragonstorm.
Megatron especially looks pretty cool and well painted for a gum ball sized nubbin.
Now, I’ll throw some quarters at an Orbbot at my local Acme grocery. But, I don’t think I’d buy these in a blind bag more than once or twice, since they’re not a Mugenbine styled combiner that I can reassemble no matter the color.
But, I’d take a gamble a couple times, perhaps.

Cute.

Those turbo changers look great. Do we have series 3 codes yet?
