Thanks to Ozformers on Facebook, we can report our first sighting of the new Transformers Bumblebee Movie: Energon Igniters Toys at Australian Retail.
Australian fans seem to be the first to get these toys at shelves. The Power Plus size of the Energon Igniters Optimus Prime, Camaro 77 Bumblebee and Beetle Bumblebee were found in Australia at a Toymate store, at Robina. These figures are part of the 4 sizes of this line that we had reported previously.
They were available for $30 AUD each ($21.98 approximately). 2005 Boards user Griffin-of-oz points out that this could be an accidental early release by this store, but it’s good news for Australian collectors.
You can check out the images on this news post and then share your thoughts on the 2005 Boards.

Photos of the three toys I bought from the Toymate store…
The packaging.

Robot modes out of packaging.

The included Igniter Engines are all the same shape/size, but are uniquely sculpted, with different engine-esque parts.

Vehicle modes.

With the Igniters plugged in.
They give the vehicle modes a motorised feature, as the Igniter is pushed through to have it's wheel touching the surface – pushing on the grey top tab, has the vehicle rocket off forwards.
Not the prettiest looking gimmick, but the Igniters are interchangable, and other non-vehicle gimmicks will probably be more affecting (less intrusive to the look of the toy's alt-mode or robot-mode).
The gaps without the Igniters.
You can open up the panels before plugging in the Igniter… or push it through, forcing open the panels.
.
Edit – I didn't have this demonstration video ready when I posted up the photo gallery yesterday. It's just a short video, showing how the Igniter Core works on the Power Plus size-class toys…. being watched by a small audience of Bumblebees, to see if the new ones are worthy of the name.

Here in the UK we have had next to no cyberverse in stores , and yet elsewhere in the world they already have Bumblebee movie releases ….
… i am feeling somewhat neglected by hasbro at the moment .

The street date was Halloween, but this is still two months early. That said though, I won’t turn these down!

Wasn't it stated to toys were due out in October? It's almost time.

Yeah the red and white was getting a bit tired. I'm surprised they made Cyberverse yellow as well, though; I'd've thought they'd want to differentiate the lines a bit more, kind of how they differentiate Generations by using red on black. Funny how red on black looks 'premium' while as you say, red on white looks cheap and generic.

I hope they hit the US soon! I'm really loving all the yellow and blue packaging. Definitely a major step up from the white and red packaging that was used on everything a few years back (it was also used on the Last Jedi merchandise, strangely). I've always found that color scheme ugly for toy packaging, it reminds me of generic goods like Wal-Mart's Great Value brand, lol. This packaging is sort of industrial-looking, and retro.

Possibly a world first sighting, the Power Plus size of the Energon Igniters were found in Australia at a Toymate store, at Robina.

They were $30 each, but could be an accidental early release by this store.
