Stock images for the upcoming redeco of Studio Series Movie Ratchet in his Dark of the Moon form are starting to appear on listings on eBay. Ratchet had a much reduced role in Transformers Dark of the Moon, but his deco was revised for the third movie, and that updated design is captured here as a part of the ongoing Studio Series.
Dark of the Moon Ratchet is set to join the Studio Series as a part of the third wave of Deluxe class releases, alongside orange Lockdown remold Shadow Raider, and the ubiquitous Bumblebee, this time in VW Beetle flavor for his upcoming solo movie.

Found these at Target.com. They're not directly accessible yet, but I found them thanks to a backdoor via Brickseek:

That really is the problem–everything has been so shrunk down. They could have strived for scale accuracy at normal sizes and it all would have worked. I saw Jazz in person and he is an absolute scout-class from back in the day. Packaged in a $20 box. It's one of the major reasons the only SS figure I've bought so far has been Blackout. No plans to buy any of the others.

SS strives for scale accuracy. With Deluxes shrunken into Scouts, Ratchet scaled well as a Voyager in the ROTF days but not anymore.

I like that the green looking green and not yellow
User_136440
Maybe they should've just used a lighter shade of grey….

Though inaccurate I think white works better in contrast with Ratchet’s green.
The paintjob succeeds in where 07 failed and fails in where 07 succeeded. The head is better but the arms & legs are even worse than 07 who IIRC was mostly eye-gauging green with slight hints of silver. One thing DOTM nailed over 07 hands down is the the vehicle paintjob.
To be honest I don’t really regret getting 07 over this guy. Both figures needed a lot of black and silver for their details to shine, DOTM just needed a little less IMO

If he was a voyager, I'd buy. Too small for what I want.

I know white isn't accurate I've been posting pictures of the real prop vehicle to show people that it isn't accurate.
I was answering the question "Where does everyone get white from"
Answer: because All of dotm ratchets toys were a bright white and green instead of the screen accurate greyish color.

I feel the same way. The gray just looks boring and doesn't make the figure pop like I think it would with white instead.

Regardless of whether the color is accurate or not, I am really digging the DOTM deco on SS Ratchet mold than the first version's. Definitely plan on picking up this one to go with the aforementioned previous SS version in my Ratchet Army….I mean Ratchet themed shelf.

I’ll say it here. DOTM ratchet was a greyish silver in the film. White is the best way to represent that as a deluxe.
