Two Ebay listings show some new in-hand images of the upcoming Studio Series Dropkick and KSI Sentry figures.
Whilee we had already seen some official pictures of these toys before, the Ebay listings show us three images of each toy standing in their respective cardboard backdrop, and robot and alt mode. These figures are part of the upcoming Studio Series Wave 4 of Deluxes, so we will sure find them at retail in the future. SS-22 Dropkick is a new mold of one of the Decepticons from the Bumblebee movie. SS-23 KSI Sentry is a remold and blue repaint of SS-02 Stinger, featuring a new arm weapon and head.
You can check out the mirrored images after the jump, and then let us know your impressions on the 2005 Boards!

Dropkick is trash ksi sentry is epic but dropkick no it looks so bad make a triple changing dropkick and shatter please

To be fair, there's plenty of mass shifting throughout the series. But Drift isn't one of those scenarios. His helicoptor mode is tiny and isnt based on any real world helicopter.

How can translate an MPM Drift that is a triple changer? A bugatti turning into a copter?
Those peeps in AOE including Bay himself is just looking excuse on how Drift got his samurai blades.
Bay: "So we made the samurai swords from the chopper blade. So let's make drift a chopper too!"
And we all thought Bay don't like Mass Shifting.
How can he allow mass shifting a bugatti into a freakin' chopper

Marvel Legends is a line with near-infinite reuse potential, and has virtually no engineering constraints.
Transformers molds are used twice, maybe three times on average, fully customized to each character, and require a lot of creative engineering R&D.
Those things all absolutely matter.
A theoretical MPM Drift won't be at either Deluxe size or budget.
Digger
Maybe mpm drift can prove this wrong.

Well if Hasbro can sell below $20 of that Not-Studio Series Dropkick "disguised" in a Studio Series Box, or price like a regular premiere deluxe, that will be much acceptable.
It's like Hasbro is somewhat stealing an extra $5 from their Marvel Legends Vintage Series. $20 for cardback packaged and less accessorized figures.
Which it should been $15 practically compared to much premium regular legends of $20 in a box packaged with accessories and BAF part.

It's pretty impossible to do, to make such an intricate (and improbable) triple-changer at Deluxe size.
Movie Drift never got a "proper" triple-changing toy, either.
WereDragon EX
Ah well, that sucks.
mx-01 archon
No.

Does Dropkick\'s toy have his Triple changer cpability in the film?

I’m glad I could clear it up. It’s a really obvious difference that not many get.

Me too. But how long can it really go? Alot will depend on how much money the Bumblebee movie makes and if it creates a buzz for the 7th movie. Without a 7th movie this line wont make it past the 2nd year in my opinion. People compare studio series to star wars black series, but I just dont agree with that comparison. Bayverse isnt timeless enough to make new toys for every character all over again. Plus the random gold bee repaints and thundercracker being included in the official studio series number count is not a good sign. It shows they will throw anything in there even if its not from the movie. If it was meant to be a serious ongoing line, I personally dont think they would have done that.

Ya I don’t like knock offs so that’s a big no from me in buying those
ReadyParzivalOne
I’m hoping the SS line doesn’t only last 2 years

I hear ya. But its gonna be a long wait, if they even do the wreckers at all. I pridict SS will go strong for 2019 but get cut for 2020. Barricade will be a given in 2019, but I needed that spot filled now. The DOTM figure exceeded my expectations. So when I can pick up something that scales good for $20-25 bucks, I dont mind. Granted deluxe Leadfoot is expensive, but they do have a super high quality KO with the best of both decos that wasnt available when I went all in on an original Leadfoot. The other 2 are cheap.

I’m genuinely surprised you don’t know what a ko is. A ko is a direct ripoff or bootleg of another product. Transformers has a long history of Ko’s. Third parties are different from these entirely.

Although they used the CAD files to make new versions of old characters, that's not the sole purpose of the line. Think of it like Star Wars Black Series or Marvel Legends which are catch-all collector lines which mix, old characters and new ones together. Otherwise you'd have Studio Series and a very short Bumblebee 'Premier Edition' line going on at the same time, both movie based, both with the deluxe, voyager and leader size figures, so it's just easier to absorb the deluxe etc. figures into the ongoing line, and have the gimmick toys as an entirely separate line.
There's no reason why we won't, there have been several listings under code names which are numbered like Bumblebee's was; Blue Light 1 has turned out to be Dropkick in his chopper mode while Blue Light 2 is his car mode. I'm sure it'll be the same for Shatter as there have been listings for Red Light(ning) 1 & 2 as well.
Yeah the blue ones were only ever seen in car mode in the factury. I guess they decided to go with the one colour we didn't see for the robot mode.
ReadyParzivalOne
What’s KO? And isn’t KO third party to? Any company that isn’t hasbro is third party
ReadyParzivalOne
Ya I really want the rusty ice cream one but can’t find it…. it’s cool you have stand ins…. I don’t have any wrecker that’s why I’ll wait for the SS line to do them and I’m hoping they do a TF1 Barricade to
Rated X
I have no idea. I have the DVD. But hitting pause on every random fight scene of a 3 hour movie, to prove Hasbro wrong or right….sorry im not that guy. If anyone plans to do the task they probally should find something better to do with their time. In my mind there will be blue KSI sentries, regardless if they are in the actual film or not. People who are trying to justify the toys existance based on a half a second clip are going to have a hard time dealing with the Bug Bumblebee toy having wings. Are they going to boycott it too over screen accuracy. Studio Series said made it clear the line was going to include repaints when since TRU thundercracker and those pointless gold Bumblebee repaints.
