They were probably impressed with the paychecks they got for that commercial.

You should feel ashamed. Why aren't you holding up a potp potato with Hun-grr and your little sign?

Cyberverse Bee is a little creepy in this type of CGI.

I think we're missing the real concern here. If your child is that old and acting that way, you might need to seek professional consult.

Why does that kid remind me of when hip hop was good ?

I didn't even need to watch it to know how cheesy and overall dumb the commercial is.

Yup, they ain't for me, but my nephew grew quite frustrated with the deluxes people got him for Christmas. Sure we had more transformation steps to our figures when we were kids, but we also didn't have as much articulation or loose ball joints that would pop off. Many modern deluxes/voyagers/leaders (even if they have gotten easier the past few years) have to have things lined up a certain way to peg in correctly, which is something that many 3-5 year olds just aren't very good at.
I am glad that we are getting some re-issues, got my nephew bumblebee ordered (I should have ordered a second set of all the minibots) to give him a figure I would be happy with that is still fun, and something I have a bit of respect for as an adult. Sure I wouldn't have these in my collection, but there are a lot of things I won't have in my collection, but both of my nephews (one is a bit too young) would probably love them. Movie Bumblebee from TLK was toasted in under 24 hours (though I put a bit of the blame on him having parents that are more concerned with staring at their phones than playing with their kids).

That faceplate of Bumblebee very looks like Squid-baby from MIB the movie!

They kinda look like the McDonalds Happy Meal toys. Only those were $6 for a shitty burger.

"get more whoa" and "feel the thrill": commercial for transformers or condoms? you won't believe the answer!

There definitely exists a generational bias towards which Transformers toys are the best.
"Back in my day we had 30-step deluxes, with 25+ points of articulation, more paint, no hollow areas, pinned wheels, firing missiles, more plastic, better packaging, AND WE LIKED IT!!!"
So yes, we've been spoiled and will never get used to the new dumbed down stuff. Especially at those prices…yeesh! At that point, I'll go buy a superior Takara version or something that's from the times before all the budget/cost cutting started hurting the potential and fun of what the toys could have been.

This is stupid… woah. Why can't people come up with commercial ideas that sell the product good but is not so cringeworthy? Woah…
