Some figures are hard to find, but some of them almost become legends. This was the case with The Last Knight Deluxe Cogman in the US. Released as the only toy in The Last Knight Wave 4 Deluxe class in 2017, we had one sighting at Toys “R” Us in Washington back in October, 2017. Sadly, not many fans were able to see Cogman again in any store.
It seems The Last Knight collectors will have another chance to grab this elusive figure. 2005 Boards member was able to find Cogman at Ross Dress for Less in Dallas, Texas and for only $7.99.
Time to dash to your local Ross store to try your luck and finally grab Cogman for your collections! Let us know if you found him on the 2005 Boards!

I’m hoping he really does get released as a Studio Series entry.

Keep an eye out, I found Cogman at Ross yesterday in Culver City, there was only one left alongside a single BB, Barricade, and Crosshairs, $8 isn't a bad get for this headmaster.

Are people having luck finding these? I've been checking stores all around St. Louis, MO and haven't seen anything. I'm not sure if he's coming in his original case assortment or in a new assortment. Very frustrating not being able to find this after the initial excitement.

Finding Cogman at Walmart wasn’t difficult it was non-existent.

Here's how it works:
A) The TF sites report this;
B) The "collectors" swoop in to buy ALL of them;
C) You drive around for hours, only to find a Strafe or Slug (which you don't want, even at $8);
D) You realize that paying $30-35 for Cogman is somehow cheaper than trying to find him locally.
E) In paying scalper prices (rather than MSRP), you support a system that creates artificial scarcity to make you pay more for your toys (now and in the future).
F) Hasbro sees Cogman selling for $35 and decide that raising deluxe prices to $25 isn't so crazy, after all!
G) Scalpers raise after-market prices to reflect new MSRPs;
H) Cycle repeats.
I saw Wave 1 and 2… so the mixture leads me to believe Ross is getting a random assortment. Unfortunately, and keep this in mind, discount stores are not known for even distribution, so if you thought finding Cogman at Walmart was difficult?

Went to Ross today. Only had Crosshairs.
PlanckEpoch
Yup. Found one just today in Portland, OR.

The utter disappointment I felt today walking into Ross again to find three TLK deluxes and them all be from wave 2.
Did end up buying one of them though, Drift, because I had kind of wanted him. Hopefully Cogman will show up later.

My ross only had 1 crosshairs with a beat up box thats all they had
Pun-3X
Confirmed in Las Vegas–got one yesterday. Also found Crosshairs.

picked one up this morning. unlike hot rod, he was at the first one is went to, which was nice. they also had a strafe who was packaged upside down and a barricade. maybe should've checked for more, since that wave 3 bumblebee was in cogman's case. would've been nice to get him too.

My local Ross (Olympia, WA) has two Cogmans and a Barricade, so they’ve made their way to the West coast.

Which store was this at?

So I'm told by an associate from a Ross store I went to yesterday and just revisited today that I missed Cogman himself by a hair. I mentioned yesterday that I was looking for Transformers and that they had put some out but after I had left the store. They tried to obscure them behind other toys in the event I came back, but it was found and gone anyway by today. I showed the image from the headline article and they confirmed he was one of them.

Yeah, the only problem is that the still recent Premium Edition line just about kicked off Studio Series (design, engineering, evident in figures like TLK Bumblebee/SS 1977 Bumblebee, amongst others), so any PE figures are pretty much considered the "SS" versions, at least for now. You likely won't be seeing another Cogman or Hot Rod, or Hound, or Nitro Zeus, etc. for a long time.
When I knew I was going to collect SS, I also figured PE into that decision. Then shelled out for each of these guys on Amazon.

Happy to see folks be able to get him, he's an awesome figure.

I wish for a LOT of changes to that TLK movie. It was awful from Mark Wahlburg's mullet to the complete under-utilization of both Cogman and that dragon.
But I am grateful for one thing: Bay graciously allowed Transformers to share the screen with his human characters!
No, no.
I think the TLK [toy] disaster had more to do with poor scheduling and different commitments. Their toy designers could have been spending the majority of their time on the kiddy stuff like 1-steps (or even other toy lines?), and maybe they just didn't have the newer TLK toys designed in time for launch of the line. At the same time, Hasbro also saw an opportunity to re-sell the last set of toys for CHEAP. But here's another theory: AoE Generations toys may have sold so poorly that Hasbro felt it unwise to spend too much money making more. In that case, someone might have suggested re-releasing the AoE toys to a (hopefully) newer audience that might appreciate them – and of course, Hasbro executives love a business plan with minimal costs.
IRREGARDLESS, the repaints sold so terribly that it made it impossible for stores to restock with the actual new molds. After all, stores are hesitant to clearance inventory and cannot send unsold merch back (like in olden times).
More importantly, don't you think that Hasbro is slipping or not paying enough attention to their customer needs? It just seems like they have a plan and it seldom coincides with what the fans (core customers) want from the brand. What good is the Generations PotP line if so few customers can actual find the toys? Meanwhile, we get to see AllSpark Tech TLK toys get rushed to shelves and completely fail to make any impact at all.
