Thanks to Weibo user 淘宝店变形金刚改造工厂 we have new in-package images of the upcoming Transformers Studio Series Wave 3 Deluxe to share with you.
The images show Studio Series: SS-16 Ratchet (repaint of the SS-04 Ratchet in Dark Of The Moon deco), SS-17 Shadow Raider (repaint of SS-11 Lockdown, with new helmet and gun) and SS-18 Bumblebee from Bumblebee: The Movie, a new mold that can transform into the classic Volkswagen Beetle.
To top it all, we also have a nice out-of-the-box promotional image of SS-18 Bumblebee. It gives us the exact size of this toy: 6 inches or 15.2 cm tall in robot mode. Finally, 2 small gray pictures (maybe part of the instructions) that shows SS-22 Dropkick (from Bumblebee: The Movie) and SS-23 KSI Sentry (repaint of SS-02 Stinger with new head and weapon).
You can check out the mirrored images after the jump, and then share your thoughts on these upcoming toys on the 2005 Boards!

That's been brought up quite a few times, but to be fair we don't know that he won't have them in the movie. We've only seen a tiny portion of movie footage. Maybe those wings unfold during battle or something. Honestly, he could have them for the majority of the movie. Considering most of the promo images have wings, I strongly suspect they'll appear at some point.

Something I noticed today that kinda bummed me out: the doors!
The movie version doesn't show the doors. So why does the figure show them?
That seems like a huge error to make IMHO – like a third arm or something.
It's not a deal breaker but..but…just goddammit!

"Leaked from Cybertron: something the Chinese already leaked for us and did a way better job at marketing."
Amen to this. I gave up trying to get figures at retail ages ago. Then suddenly NZ got a bunch of figures other countries hadn't got. And then the scalpers showed up again (bad enough in the US, but in a small country, they're arguably worse). Their distribution is so ass-backwards.

it does have ankle tilt but its not a tilt in the center of the foot its a pin
u can see the ankle pin with the foot on the left in vehicle position and the foot on the right tilted all the way

Why didn\'t they use this kind of yellow on the final figure?

I hope Studio Series makes an evasion mode Prime. Including this Bumblebee it would give us a set of movie figures that transform into their G1 alt-modes

Well, we've already established that Hasbro's marketing team isn't on speaking terms with their distribution department…

I didn’t know it was on shelves yet. But your point is still valid considering full pictures of the figure have been released

How can they call it a "sneak peek" if the figure is already available for purchase

I really want this new Bee! I'm a little worried because it doesn't look like it has ankle tilt. But hopefully it transforms easier then the wave 1 version.

Better yet, just subscribe to this thread.

oh ok… if you find them and remember… can you tag me in the photos of them?

I assume there are, but I haven't found them yet, i.e. they haven't been added to Amazon or the Walmart website yet.
ReadyParzivalOne

ReadyParzivalOne

Shadow Raider is the only one I like. I don't really care about movie stuff. I just wish he had a jet alt mode. The head & color scheme would look awesome on the Nitro mold.

25 this year that we know of I say that because I dont think that Hasbro will wait to release a jet form of shatter in studio series after the movie comes out.
The car modes of the con duo I don't know why but I see them as a 2pk next year like the bumble bee then and now 2pk.
There are at least 8 we know of that popped up in listings probably for release in 2019 we've yet to see

I thought they were doing only 25, like they showed on that poster.
Really hope I'm wrong tho.
