Good news for Peruvian collectors. Thanks to a report from Transformers Peru On Facebook we got word that Power Of The Primes Deluxe Wave 2 and Studio Series Voyager Wave 1 Have Been Found At Peruvian Retail.
Power Of The Primes Deluxe Wave 2, consisting of: Blackwing, Dinobot Sludge, Dinobot Snarl, Autobot Moonracer, y Terrorcon Rippersnapper were found at Ripley in La Marina Avenue for 79.90 Peruvian Soles or $24.44 which is a very good price. Ripley has got a lot of stores not only in Peru, but all over South America. We hope more countries will find these figures soon.
Studio Series Voyager Wave 1 Optimus Prime and Starscream were also spotted (with the previously reported Deluxes Wave 1) in the same store for 129.90 Peruvian Soles or $39.74.
Happy hunting!

And don't get me started on some of the weirder flubs found in Hasbro's multilingual European instructions…
In 2008, the second wave of the Universe line had the text in the instructions changed from mixed case to upper case. Somehow in the process, the (correct) Greek version of "change to robot" in mixed case was replaced by "change to catapult" in upper case.
Also during Universe, the somewhat clunky term "beast" for animal alternate modes was translated into German as "Monster", which means the same as it does in English.
And the Slovakian version used "automobil" (which specifically refers to cars) as the standard translation for "vehicle", and on top of that, the term "vehicle mode" even got a really absurd translation into Slovakian, which actually translates back into English as "shape of car".

Pffft. My employer easily beats that! There are multiple official Amazon Germany listings with auto-translated (actually only semi-translated) titles such as "Power der Prämien" ("Prämien" means "premiums" or "bonus payments") or "Power of the Primzahlen" ("Primzahlen" means "prime numbers").

And one infamous title was on a Ripley store which was selling "La última noche" / "The Last NIGHT" toys
Nevermore
Well, I was making fun of the store's misspelling of the toyline's title. You brought up literal translations of price point names that originate with Hasbro.

And even on the shelves and the system of some stores.

The size class translations are actually on the packaging, aren't they?

I wish i could have taken pictures of all of those mistakes…. you will surely have enjoyed them. Like "Revenge oN the Fallen", "Robots DisguisED", "Combinator Wars" and literal translations like "Clase Viajero" or "Clase De Lujo"
Nevermore
"Power ot the Primes"?

That's why I haven't found wave 2. I didn't check the Targets in Peru.

In another very nice surprise, Power Of The Primes Wave 2 was spotted at Peruvian retail just some weeks after the sighting of Wave 1.
Transformers Peru Facebook reported that Power Of The Primes Wave 2 Deluxes: Blackwing, Dinobot Sludge, Dinobot Snarl, Autobot Moonracer, y Terrorcon Rippersnapper were found at Ripley in La Marina Avenue for 79.90 Peruvian Soles or $24.44 which is a very good price. Ripley has got a lot of stores all over the capital, and distribution seems great this time.
Studio Series Voyager Wave 1 were also spotted (with the previously reported Deluxes Wave 1) in the same store for 129.90 Peruvian Soles or $39.74.
This is indeed a golden era for toys at retail, considering that Combiners Wars Deluxes Wave 2 was never seen in stores, and Titans Return never saw other figures than Deluxes and Voyagers Wave 1.
