It’s not an exaggeration when we say that ‘one of the best things about Transformers Live Action Movie Series is the magnificent score from Steve Jablonsky’. The very moment ‘Arrival To Earth’ started playing, we all fell in love with his music.
Sadly, the maestro will not be composing for Transformers: Bumblebee movie. That honor now resides with Dario Marianelli. Therefore, Mr. Jablonsky issued a special ‘Thank You’ note to the Transformers fans via his official Facebook page.
Snippet:
“I’m sure most of you know the whole point of the Bumblebee movie is to do something completely different from the Bay films. I am eternally proud that so many of you consider my music to be such an important character in the franchise. And that’s the very reason why this new film needed a new voice, a new sound.
It’s hard for me to even comprehend that I composed music for this franchise for 10 years. It was incredibly challenging, I probably aged 20 years in those 10 years. But YOU made the experience one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done in all the years I’ve been around. I wish I could thank each and every one of you personally.”

“The new Bumblebee movie coming out has confirmed something that I already knew….I have the greatest fans on the planet earth. The messages I have received from fans have been completely unexpected and overwhelming. Messages like: “PLEASE tell me you’re doing the music for Bumblebee”, “It’s not a Transformers movie without your music”, “The only reason I watch these movies is your music”, “All I want from Bumblebee is a new Jablonsky score”. Not gonna lie I teared up more than once. These messages mean so much to me, more than you guys and girls know….

Who knows what the future holds for this franchise. Maybe I’ll compose music for Optimus and crew again someday. But for now I am forever grateful that Michael Bay gave me the opportunity to spend 10 years of my life writing music for you all. The music was always for you, I thought about you while I was writing, that is the honest truth. So I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for the 10 years of support and inspiration.
Steve Jablonsky”

So glad to know he’s cool with it and that he understands how important his music has been to the franchise. We’ll miss ya Steve, hope to see you return soon.
As for the new guy I haven’t heard any of his work but he’s Oscar nominated multiple times so I’m not too worried. Hopefully the emotional synth score from the trailer is a good sampler of what we can come to expect.

No problem. Now, did you choose the correct spelling, or the American version, this time?

Thanks for the memories and purdy music, Steve! You're the reason I listen to movie scores!
Probably going to have my family play "Arrival to Earth" at my funeral. A little ironic but a fantastic piece of music.
SilverOptimus
Thanks, man. Corrected. These kind of things happen

No, Thank YOU!

A good music is at least 50% of the total success of a film (or a whole saga)… and Steve Jablonsky\'s music is without a doubt, one of the most positive sides (which will certainly remain more in memory) of the saga Transformers by Michael Bay!

Steve's music is among the best, but I am excited to hear someone else give it a shot for a change.
Red Goblin
And then he went off to score Dark Phoenix.
Also I thought it was confirmed that Dario Marianelli would do the score and not Jablonsky.

Ill be playing Arrival to Earth to my grave. One of my favorite compositions, all thanks to this man.

Ah, I'll miss them tunes. Well, will be fun to see what might sound out next.

I hope whoever does it still uses some variation of the bumblebee theme from first movie.

Yeah, to make a cute & cuddly Transformers movie for little girls.

Shame Steve won't be composing Bumblebee's score. Really enjoyed his work in the past Bay movies and his music definitely was one of the highlights (especially in what were otherwise some of the more lackluster TF films like ROTF and AOE; haven't really sat down and listened to TLK's tracks but will have to do that soon).
The Arrival, Soccent Attack, Scorponok's theme, Optimus Prime's theme, Sentinel Prime's theme, Lockdown's theme, and the DOTM final battle themes for Chicago are some of my favorites.
Wishing him good fortune on his future endeavors!

Steve’s scores have been impeccable, and there are definitely some pieces that will forever be part of this entire franchise; Arrival to Earth definitely transcends the Bay films for me, personally. And a lot of them already invoke nostalgia in me when I hear them, which is crazy to think about.
This guy is up there with Hans Zimmer, John Williams, and Alan Silvestri for sure. Thanks for all the great memories, and beautiful and profound music, Steve. Wish him the best of luck in the future, and also welcome to the new composer! I’m sure he’ll be great too and deliver a new sense of magic and heart that the Bumblebee movie seems to focus on

Steve’s music was one of the only good things in the movies. It’s a shame he won’t be around anymore
Mr.Deflok
Steve is good people.

Did anyone catch the misspelled word honer I would assume they meant honor but that just stood out to me.
