Thanks to an extensive report from Transformers Chile Facebook Fan Page we can report that Transformers Power Of The Primes Deluxe, Voyager & Leader Wave 1 And Studio Series Deluxe And Voyager Wave 1 have been finally spotted At Chilean Retail.
We had reported our first Chilean sighting of Prime Masters Wave 1 way back in April. It took some time, but the rest of class sizes are finally at retail. The rest of the line was spotted at Paris shopping mall in Providencia, Santiago.
- Wave 1 Legends (Beachcomber, Dinobot Slash, Skrapnel and Windcharger) – 9999 Chilean Pesos ($15.99)
- Wave 1 Deluxes (Jazz, Slug, Swoop and Dreadwind) – 17990 Chilean Pesos ($28.78),
- Wave 1 Voyagers (Grimlock and Starscream) – 26990 Chilean Pesos ($43.18) and
- Wave 1 Leader class Evolution Rodimus Prime and Optimus Prime are – 44990 Chilean Pesos ($71.98) each one. A really nice surprise to see these big guys on the shelves.
Studio Series figures are available at the same Paris store, too. Our first South American report of these figures:
- Wave 1 Deluxes (Bumblebee, Stinger, Crowbar and Ratchet) – 19990 Chilean Pesos ($31.98)
- Wave 1 Voyagers (Optimus Prime and Starscream) – 26990 Chilean Pesos ($43.18, same as POTP Voyagers). No sightings of Wave 1 Leader Class Blackout or Grimlock yet.
This is indeed a great time hunting time for all our fellow Chilean fans. Keep reporting your sightings around the world on the 2005 Boards!

Most times (Including shipping and all that stuff) it's a tad bit more expensive. But when hobby shops import them usually are just the same price a retail (over here)

If you import a figure, is it cheaper or with shipping and taxes is almost the same or worse?

I have read comments and it seems frankly funny, because in Chile, which is a tiny country in the last place on the continent, we did not have three of the six Combiners waves, none of the wave 5 of titans and a very limited portion of the 4 and 6 of Deluxes, Voyagers and Legends, and only four of all Leaders, a situation that is repeated all the time because we almost did not appear on the map. Meanwhile, in the USA, Canada and other more developed countries have even exclusive stores like the deceased Tru, where they could buy up to Platinum editions at an absurdly low price, comparatively speaking, and here we say all the time \"Oh, they in the north have so many options to buy\" Let\'s say that for once we were lucky to have these figures. I understand that in certain locations there may be bad distribution, but at least the United States appears on the map for the big H; I would like to think that in the future the distribution in any place will be more equitable so that we can all enjoy the figures we want.

Actually, sometimes here stores are full of shelfwarmers, I still remember back after December there was a huge amount of TR Deluxes (even including Slugslinger), Sky Shadow and TLK Hounds that didn't sold for Christmas. Sure the stock is decent, but nowhere near as good like other countries (I'm from Chile, only one store here stocks a decent amount of figures, while everyone else just doesn't
Not to mention that last year one big chain of stores here still tried to sell the remaining copies of Liokaiser (Which was overpriced as fuck, something like 300 US Dollars), Platinum Rise of Rodimus Prime (I think that some stores still have it to this day, but the boxes I've seen are pretty busted up).

Though it could have something to do with the much higher international prices (even here in the UK and the rest of western Europe) which don't necessarily reflect a higher average wage or better standard of living.

Jealousy factor extremely high in these parts.
BIGGUY007
Same. It pisses me off that they've got shelves and pegs chocked full of Transformers, while our cuboards are bare.

I legitimately hate how International stores are better stocked than we are.
