Apple have updated their iTunes site with a three page preview of next week’s Optimus Prime issue 19. Optimus Prime #19 is part four of “The Falling”, but this issue kicks off not with resuming Onyx Prime’s attack on Cybertron, but rather a flashback to the early days of Starscream – and in these three pages we learn a lot about Starscream, who he was, where he came from, and how he viewed Orion Pax – the ‘bot who would be Optimus Prime.
Check out the preview and its as always excellent artwork by Sara Pitre-Durocher attached to this post.

Geez, Barber has been playing this tune with Starscream for YEARS. We GET IT. He won\'t change. He always lies and manipulates and ends up failing because he never learns.
Just give it a rest already. It\'s boring.
Blam320
The giveaway that it's BS is Starscream claiming everything he's done has been for the good of the common Cybertronian. That, and projecting his own manipulative and power-hungry personality onto Optimus.
Knightsword
No, it's Starscream's autobiography and as such it's BS.
Lionheart
Wait so Starscream actually wanted to help people and WASN'T in fact, always an opportunistic egomaniac? I have no idea what's going on with characterization anymore…
Issy543
That's cool to know. I wonder what Bumblebee's story will be like.
Sockie
Matches the silhouettes on the Coller covers as well (except for #18, but that was an interlude)–so #20 will be Bumblebee and #21 will be Pyra Magna.

I like the way the beginning and ending of each issue occurs with a reflective story from different characters. So far, it's been the following:
#15: Mistress of Flame
#16: Soundwave
#17: Aileron
#18: Shockwave
#19: Starscream
GrimLocke
Oh, hell yeah it is!
Meanwhile, like that film Starscream wanted Thundercracker to make in “Starscream the Movie,” The Optimus Prime Annual, “Weight of Justice” is some revisionist history with Screamy deflecting and projecting some of his own responsibilities to make himself look fabulous.
Moreover, I’m calling Starscream’s spark’s “true” form from the end of TAOO “Hotscream,” for now.
I also hope he does get one last redeco before the end and we get a real name for that, too.
Sovietbot
I want that flag of the autobots!

Lol what\'s Starscream doing? It seems to be illegal enough for him to blast off before Orion shows up.
Pitre-Durocher art continues to be the gift that keeps on giving. Her art and the colours are emulating Zama\'s art, with slight changes between the Milne and Livio eras of pre-war, and it somehow all looks gorgeous (Starscream even has his blue face!)
ionacus
I love this. We need more Starscream back story
Purple Heart
Make up your damn mind Starscream.

Hey @Sol Fury the artist is Sara Pitre-Durocher, not Zama.
