- Cheetor has a 100% chance to Evade Ranged Attacks and a 20~30% chance that the projectiles will Miss completely.
SIGNATURE ABILITY – FERAL STRIKE
Cheetor’s jovial nature can be quickly overcome by beastly aggression. Once he has hit his limit, his feral spark grants him incredible speed allowing him to decimate opponents before they are able to react.
When Filling a Bar of Power
- Cheetor gains a Feral Strike Buff, granting 10~40% Critical Rate and his attacks ignore Armor, Shielding, Evasion, and do not trigger enemy abilities for 4 seconds. Additionally, while Feral Strike is active, Cheetor gains a 25% chance to Evade Melee Attacks.
SPECIAL ATTACKS:
Special 1 – Transmetal Trauma
Cheetor gives his opponent the tail end.

- +2~8% Armor
Mutual – Enemies – Waspinator
- +2~8% Attack
Incoming – Beast Purification – Optimus Primal

Mutual – Speed Chasers – Sideswipe, Mirage, Bumblebee(Cinematic).
- +5~40% Attack when Dodging the opponent’s attacks.
STRONG MATCH-UPS:
- Shockwave – Shockwave will have a hard time hitting Cheetor, and if he does, he’ll have an even harder time Draining his Power.
- Optimus Primal – Cheetor’s signature ability will allow him to punch through Primal’s Crit Armor, and if the ape thinks he’s going to heal from Bleeds, Cheetor’s Repair Block put a stop to that idea.
WEAK MATCH-UPS:
- Hound – Hound’s Precision Ammo will make short work of this bot as he attempts to Dash-in for an attack.
- Megatron GS – Cheetor requires constant buffs to stay on top, some that Megatron would love to steal.
RECOMMENDED MODULES FOR CHEETOR:
Scout’s Sentry
- Increasing his Critical Chance will enable this bot to dish out more damage and punish the opponent for missing their attacks.
Robot Resources
- Cheetor wants to win, this mod is like his dream-come-true.

Beast Wars [Transmetal] Cheetor coming tomorrow to ‘Forged to Fight’ or Cheetor (BW)/toys – Transformers Wiki .
First one is much better.
RodimusSupreme
That was also heavily remolded.
DOTM Bumblebee
I'm not expecting this to mean a new Generations figure, but I am hoping… Bumblebee is my preferred kid appeal character, but I love Cheetor, and any new figure of the guy is reason to celebrate in my eyes.
iuJacob
I don’t think it’s as far removed from the original design (save for a major gripe I have below) as you’re making it out to be, but maybe I don’t fully understand your post.
I will give you that it does lean more towards a more jagged design than the original curvier one. That’s especially noticed in the the [lobster claw] hands/lower jaw in the beast mode.
It’s still not as stylized as their Dinobot design, though.
However, I do have issues with the head and face though. That just doesn’t look like Cheetor to me.
Anyways, that aside:
Both Cheetor and Dinobot have this almost… cartoony-ancient Egyptian casino look to their bot modes.
Blackarachnia is mentioned in this new mission, and that she was ‘looking for someone’, who I assume is Silverbolt. I wonder if that aesthetic will carry over into those two. I could easily see them doing that, with Blackarachnia especially. And I wouldn’t be surprised her design ends up taking some cues from that animated-repaint we got a few years ago.

Like other people have mentioned, I hope this means a Generations figure is incoming. I still need at least him, Dinobot, and Megatron in my collection and I don't have the budget for MP figures.
Zook
Yes they did. What are you going to say next, they where never organic because the animators didn't have the budget to render realistic looking fur?
I know the difference. I've been a fan for 22 years. A transformer who took an organic alt mode and was transmetalized will have a fully robotic alt mode and have organic elements in robot mode. It's clearly visible on the show and toys. This new Cheetor design doesn't have any organic elements, and that's fine, I don't care. I'm not complaining. Just an observation. I actually like the damn design.
grimlock1972
That would be a Transmetal 2 . This is based om the TM Cheetor. Though to be fair there were a few vestiges of beast bits even in TM but not on the scale of TM2
mx-01 archon
By that level of nitpicking, then they were never "Transmetal" in the show either, since the animation never bothered with the organic textures.
iuJacob
Some of the characters they’ve picked for the game have just been because the staff likes them, apparently.
I actually thought we’d see Megatronus this month, due to Power of the Primes’ release (the game model is the same one from the series)… Maybe it’ll be next month?
PrimeAndPrimal
I like their take on the character, how they incorporated the rust on his metallic parts. Anyway, great addition for sure
Zook
I know. It's Transmetal Cheetor, but he's not technically Transmetal. I was jokingly nitpicking.
RodimusSupreme
…It has everything design-wise that Transmetal Cheetor has…just stylized to fit the game…
Zook
This version is completely robotic. A true Transmetal has organic elements in robot form.
Anti Spark
Whoa! What the heck happened to TM Cheets!?
Deadend
I'd still prefer a re-release of the original show TM molds. Those were already perfection. A box set of those in show accurate colors would be epic. Maybe some new head toolings for Cheetor since his had that grimace.
Out of all my old TFs I've sold off, the Beast Era TM ones are the ones I most regret selling besides Galaxy Convoy and Fire Convoy. They were really the pinnacle of the beast Era molds. That and the original first Ape Primal figure were really amazingly well done figures by any era standards.
Fuzor Silverbolt, Airrazor, Tigatron, Tigerhawk, and Black Arachnia could use some new molds though. Maybe TM2 Cheetor with some new lower arms. TM2 Black Arachnia definitely needs a full new mold too. BW Orig Arachnia could probably be done from the Takara tweaked animated mold.
Then the rest, I'd say do as some forms of boxsets of their best mold versions from before. Like Voyager Rhinox, and others. And use the original TM molds from that were in the show. With maybe some tweaks where needed on others. Though I do have to admit getting TM Waspinator again is actually enticing too. Never really learned to appreciate that version of him until later. It was so Starscream merged to Waspinator that it was perfect.
I am kind of torn on it though. A CW Tigerhawk voyager would rock with beast limbs, especially if it had Titan masters/prime masters of Air Razor and Tigatron to come with it, and some of those limbs could easily get retooled for Posiedon/Piranhacons. Kind of an Ultra Magnus white colors type Magnaboss in a way only more Magna Primal. Let tigerhawk's combined mode have An Airrazor influenced head design, while the non-compined has the normal TigerHawk head.
Fallout
why is that cat mode doing the "angry kitty hissing at you on top of cabinet" pose?
never mind, saying it out loud that's literally half of cheetor's character. especially in feral scream.
RodimusSupreme
I still hope that it means a potential for a new Cheetor figure soon.
RodimusSupreme
The heck? This IS Transmetal Cheetor. How is this not Transmetal Cheetor?!
Deadend
Not so random. He was the most common/popular character design of that era and is the closest to a beast era Bumblebee.
Wouldn't be surprised if we see a Hot Shot addition sometime this year still too. All leading up to BB's movie design being added near the movie.
