We’ve got word that the next Masterpiece Transformers release is coming this October – and he’s going to be a Sunstreaker redeco.
Planet Iacon reports on this alongside the October releases, calling it “Diaclone Sunstreaker” with the name to be confirmed. However, the listing has the katakana コルドン, which the sharp-eyed have noted comes out as “Korudon” or “Cordon”. We’ve verified this ourselves using Google Translate to translate Cordon into Japanese, and it brings out the same katakana as the listing.
What does this mean? Putting the pieces together, there were two different Diaclone Sunstreakers – the red Sunstreaker who was the first car robot designed by the father of Transformers Kojin Ono, and a police type. Cordon, as you might know, is something that police officers employ at crime scenes. The given name in the katakana implying a connection to crimescenes, and the existance of a police-type Diaclone design, suggests that MP-42 Cordon will be a Masterpiece police-type Sunstreaker.
As always, we’ll share more news as it comes our way. In this case, we’d expect either a Takara-Tomy Mall listing or a magazine scan will give us our first look at this release, more than likely within the next month.
Police type Sunstreaker image comes care of Maz of Transformers One. Check out his article on the Diaclone Police Countach for more information on this Japanese pre-Transformers variation of Sunstreaker.

Ugh, I ordered Cordon from RoboToyBase last month and ISC Chicago has been holding it hostage. It's original delivery date was June 29th and it's just been sitting there doing nothing… Gimme my stuff USPS!
BTW this is the last update…
Processed but not moving along to it's next destination. Wonderful.

I was also carefully thinking about that exact word choice of ‘deals’. I think you’re right about this particular phrase. And Obi wasn’t one of the blinded members of the council.

I've always thought this too, but I read somewhere recently that only a sith deals in absolutes. Obi Wan wasn't dealing in an absolute, he was simply stating an absolute. There's a difference between stating something vs dealing in something. Obi Wan is a very "certain point of view" type of person, so a little detail like this would probably be an important detail to him lol

GOLD.

Exactly. Hence my inclusion of it I loved that line because it sums up perfectly the hubris of the Jedi. They considered themselves so perfect that they didn't even see what they were saying was exactly what they were accusing others of.
I think there's a similar one in the Simpsons along the lines of 'don't judge people you don't know. That's what they do in Russia!'
Just as my telling you that they definitely didn't mean Gordon would have been pure congecture since I don't know the person. Which is why I try to choose my words carefully and try not to present my beliefs as facts.
Anyway, all that to say not a lot

Fixed
"Only a Sith deals in absolutes" I've always considered this to be the true smoking gun that the Jedi order was wrong about them on some level. Isn't this exact sentiment an 'absolute'?
mcart
Well, to be fair, I said unlikely, not impossible. For all I know the guy in charge of naming could have been a huge Gordon Ramsey fan. I'd have expected a reference to his coarse language being in direct contrast to his refined food, but I don't know whoever this person is so I cannot speak to absolutes

Oh my, a funny.
