Via Dream Factory On Weibo we have a look at the first color prototype of their upcoming Dark Of The Moon Roadbuster.
Dream Factory is bringing the DOTM Wreckers trio for your collections. Roadbuster looks very sharp and detailed on his alt mode, heavily armored and with awesome details all over the car (logos and marks). No robot mode shown yet, but according to pictures of previous releases like Topspin, we can see that they are like big Deluxes, slightly smaller than the new MPM Bumblebee. Ideal to display next to Leader Class Optimus Prime for example.
You can check out the mirrored images after the jump and then chime in your thoughts at the 2005 Boards!

I hate to be that guy, but you may end up waiting a VERY long time indeed. IIRC neither Hasbro nor Tomy have the rights to do replica Ferraris (whereas we eventually got Beetle Bee through Tomy having a working relationship with VW from their diecast car lines), and getting all the NASCAR stuff back is gonna be a tall order – above and beyond the topline change from Sprint Cup to Monster Energy Series, there's been significant changeover in sponsors. Target and the National Guard left years ago, Lowe's just left, and Mountain Dew has moved from the 88 to the 9.
They might be able to get all those logos cleared for MPM or SS Wreckers, but I wouldn't put too much money on it. Your best case is the weaponized altmodes with no sponsor markings (you'll also recall that none of the other retailers had much interest in selling a toy with a giant Target logo on it, lol).
Bee Camaro
I'm not really in a hurry either. I liked the wreckers, but they're far from my top priority, and i'm okay with Firage for now. I really want an MPM Ratchet, as he doesnt have any good looking transforming figures.
I have the DF Bonecrusher, so personally i would prefer another character to get the MPM treatment, but i understand why you would want one.
The figure i'm most excited for would be that WJ Optimus you mentioned! It looks perfect except for his chest, which im hoping is mistransformed in the pictures.
Panzertron
Yes, but im not in hurry for those figures. I prefer an MPM Ratchet or MPM Bonecrusher(to compare it with the DF Bonecrusher) at the moment. Or some 3p figures like BMB Brawl, or Sideswipe. To sum up, the next figure i will buy is the Weijiang MPM04 Oversized Optimus Prime. It looks amazing!!
Bee Camaro
Yeah, they're just about halfway done with the first movie, after 3 years, so it will be looong wait. Unless some 3rd pary companies decide they want to make them
Panzertron
Im in the same way. I decided to collect MPM scale figures, and pass on AA Mirage and DF Wreckers. We must wait several years for official MPM Topspin, Roadbuster, Leadfoot and Mirage
Bee Camaro
I see. My Firage is in the old deluxe scale, so these would probably scale well with him, but i find him too small tbh, so i guess i'm gonna have to wait for some bigger wreckers.
Panzertron
Nop, they are in old deluxe scale
Bee Camaro
Do these guys scale with MPM Bumblebee?
Panzertron
Is there any other active thread about these 3 guys? Or any other speeking separatelly about them?

if TF dream factory wants to make movie accurate, this is the correct one
look at topspin prototype with number 48 on rooftop, should have been better
this (Hasbro w reprolabels) looks better:

Hey guys, He is about 16cm tall? Will be nice have him and Barricade same size (really) I very like HA version of this dude but cant find it with OK price
The holes in thighs and feets triggers me >.<
JBrock
Just got the Leadfoot in today. Quality figure and nice paint apps. No instructions and the scanning code took me to a page that the video wouldn't load on. Had to figure it out myself and wasn't too problematic. Can't wait for the other two to show up.
Mr Megatron
Same here, time to stay up every night refreshing the tracking page til he comes

Just got my shipping notification for Roadbuster from Tf-Direct!!

I've got Topspin and Leadfoot, and I'd say they are RotF Deluxe size. Bigger then SS for sure, but not MPM scale.
artimus prime
I'm already getting Leadfoot. I didn't realize that they're bigger than the original deluxes. Any bot mode comparisons? Looks like I'll be getting all three.
Hooper_X
Just from thinking about NASCAR as a license, I'm not sure we'll ever get SS Wreckers – or if we did, they'd be HEAVILY stripped down/modified in deco, just because of sponsorship changes and whatnot in NASCAR over the last decade. Lowe's just ended its sponsorship of the 48, Target pulled out a year or two ago, and Sprint hasn't been the topline sponsor for a while now.
So you might get the trio, in their weaponized forms, with literally JUST the door/roof numbers.
Which I wouldn't be opposed to, mind you, better than nothing, but… that's a lot of hoops to jump through.
harrismonkey
Depends how much you want the characters and want to deal with the large deluxe (small MPM) size. If studio series runs long enough, they'll get to these guys (probably). But we don't know how far they'll go. Plus the BB movie just introduced a bunch more stuff they could priorities for making SS toys.
Mr Megatron
They definitely aren’t legends my friend, you’re confused with iron factory
Rodimus Mike
My opinion on these is whether or not these will be this silver color or painted up like the real deal,I am not having these if they are all silver. The other thing is if these are the standard Legends,Deluxe,or Human Alliance size,if they are Legends then forget it,I like my figures with some size and complexity not some 3 step transformation and your done.
But seeing as these are Dream Factory I automatically know these are Legends,oh well everybody can't get everything they want.
