New 3P company M-Deck has surprised us with their first project. Rather than a new transforming figure, they have showed an impressive Human Sized G1 Optimus Prime Rifle Prototype, called Ion Blaster Commander.
The images of the prototype surfaced via M-Deck Facebook and Website, and they reveal a very nice sculpted gun, as if it were taken from the cartoon, with very nice details and finishing, and more than meets the eye on it. Here’s a description of the product from the website:

ION BLASTER COMMANDER
Here is the Kickstarter campaign.
GrimLocke
I kickstarted Hyper Light Drifter… late and via the HumbleBundle. HLD was one of the last titles I played before my laptop croaked, and I’m looking forward to that coming to Switch sometime this summer, hopefully.
I also bought Stonemaeir Games’ Scythe, but that was the regular retail release.
Still, I’d be worried about sinking nearly a grand into a crowdfunding project for a replica rifle.
And, for an example, I wouldn’t spend $500 on a two pack of prop replicas of Grimlock’s Sword and Rifle, or Sword and Shield for FoC Grimsy.
But, I also don’t cosplay, nor do I collect replica armaments.
Though, some Nerf or boffering gear might be tempting.
CigarJackal
Kickstarter is a risky option. I have supported three different projects where the creator scammed everyone and took the money and ran. Those cost me $75, $150 and $25 respectively.
DangerousFat
I'd be much happier if they offered a nice proper without the gimmicks for like… $200 and then higher tier options to get one with the gimmicks. If this is $400+ I just can't justify it, personally.

forgot about this
so we should see pre orders for the kickstarter soon then i hope they sell enough to produce it as i want this baaaaaad!!!!
how much less than $600 tho? $599.99? honestly if this is over $500 they will struggle to sell many

There is an update in the official webpage: News – M-DECK
It seems the project is going to be financed via a Kickstarter campaign which will be launched this June, so get ready for it. According to the company it will be below $600, a reasonable for the size of that monster if you ask me. There is also a teaser trailer full of LED glory!
Digger
I’ve heard kinkier.

Sounds like something my wife would tell me…..wait she did tell me that.
Scourgatron
I would only buy this if it played The Touch and had accurate rifle sounds.
Scowly Prowl
That Aliens rifle…
boomerdave
What? No M41-A Pulse Rifle? 10 millimeter with an 30mm grenade launcher? Han's Blaster? Stormtrooper Blaster rifle? Robocop's Auto 9?
I need this….just the big question……how much?

Yes, Megatron/Galvatron is hardly ever happy!

Ahh, the 80s. Where violence was a marketing tool to sell to kids & adults alike, be it tv shows, rated r movies (that had toys targeted to kids), or just straight up ‘controversial’ toys, that in their defense were designed to have kids interact with each other.
I recall the toy commercials that got me and a few friends amped was:
THE LOOK… THE FEEL… THE SOUND… SO REAL…
Dada dada dada dada dada dadadada

This will probably cost more than a real gun. I've seen shotgun and AR "TYPE" setups that look freakishly similar. Unnecessary, but cool looking.

Thanks for sharing! I looked up the Ultimaker and was like, "Yeah, that's too much money."
Watching a review video now of the CR-10.

A Creality CR-10 is probably one of the best 'bang for your buck' machines around at the moment, and there's very little assembly required.
Red2
I had the hugest smile at the end of that.
Not that I needed much convincing but I think this may have pushed me over the edge as far as a 3D printer goes.
Must build one …
JT-bob
This is rad, and I'd be interested depending on the coin.
As this is not a "toy" but a prop replica, it shouldn't be too hard to get through US customs. Still, you never know with those goobers.

yep thats going to look good wired to a plug and mounted on the wall all over this
