Thanks to fellow 2005 Boards member Fasttrack, we can report that Transformers: Studio Series were finally Spotted At Australian Retail.
Australia joins to the parade of countries which have finally received Studio Series figures at retail. Wave 1 Deluxe, Voyager and even Leader class figures were found at several Toyworld stores around Australia.
Prices are as follow:
- Deluxe: $34.99 (US $26.88 approximately)
- Voyager: $49.99 (US $38.40 approximately)
- Leader: $89.99 (US $69.13 approximately)
Prices are on the usual range, but Voyagers are quite expensive. Anyway, we are glad Australian fans have the opportunity to grab these new figures locally. Happy hunting! Keep reporting your sightings around the world at the 2005 Boards!

Just spotted Megatron and Brawl at Kmart. $49

Spotted the wave ones at Toyworld in Canberra, heavily marked down. Voyagers were about $10 off and Blackout and Grimlock were $40 off.

That’s how you know it’s toyworld

Hah, I love how the bootlegs are right beneath the Studio Series figures.

Studio series spotted at Docklands Toyworld. Blackout and Grimlock are both at $94.95 AUDView attachment 27960739

It’s the usual price down under

Yeah Voyagers and Leaders are no more expensive than normal, but i cant justify $35 AUD for a deluxe figure. This is especially hard since i want all the dinobots! Also the terrorcons!

I've noticed that too. Even POTP Deluxes at Oz Kmart have taken a steep price hike compared to Titans Return.

US pricing for leaders are 49.99. I picked up both today.
rendsora
Wow the pricing is almost on par with S'pore retail pricing.

“Gotten good” is subjective. They were the first place to get both POTP and Studio Series figures in stock. But their prices are a bit higher for some size classes than other stores like Kmart or Big W
Also didn’t know they had started stocking evergreen figures. Neat
They’re showing up at multiple toyworlds across the country so should be at most toyworlds within the next week or so I’d say. The photo is of toyworld in Sunbury, Victoria though.
Fasttrack
Funnily enough. That’s pretty much what we’ve always paid for Voyager figures (as far back as I can remember at least)
While the Deluxes are more expensive than previous lines. depending on the store TR Deluxes were between $25 and $35. RiD warriors were also around $29 at most stores until near the end of the line when Big W started charging only $20 for them but most other places stuck with $29
It’s about on par with what TLK and POTP Deluxes are/we’re though. Again depending on the store. TLK ranged from $29 to $40 at most places which is also around the price of POTP Deluxes. (Although that toyworld was charging $37 for POTP Deluxes so they are MORE expensive than the studio series stuff.)
Leaders I don’t buy too often so I may be a little off. but yeah they tend to be pricey so $80 isn’t that surprising. I think they range from like $70-$100 depending on the line and store
So from my point of view the price of Deluxes is the hardest to swallow.
Voyagers are normal to me
And leaders are expansive as always.
Miyaren
which toy world which state!?!?!?
CleverNamePendingatron
Has Toyworld suddenly gotten good? It always used to suck, usually just stocking a few one-step changers and those kinds of things in my experience. Went to one today though and it had a huge selection of stuff, including the first PotP Rodimus and Evergreen Optimus I’ve seen out in the wild.

Deluxe: $34.99 = USD $26.94
Voyager: $49.99 = USD $38.50
Leader: $89.99 = USD $69.30
The Deluxe pricing is about on key, but that Voyager pricing is outrageous. The Leader is not that bad.
ReximusPrimal07
I saw the ads for them on tv last week

Thought it was worth reporting here that as of yesterday, sightings have started popping up for Studio Series figures at various Toyworld stores around Australia.
All 3 size classes have been sighted.
Prices may vary from store to store, but at the one I found them at they were priced as follows
Deluxe: $34.99
Voyager: $49.99
Leader: $89.99
All in AUD of course
