Thanks to 2005 Boards member Gamerlingual we have pictures of the Takara Tomy Legends LG-EX Greatshot Pack-In Manga
This short mini-manga/comic is placed in the Japanese Legends Universe. This story brings Greatshot and other characters from Transformers: Victory cartoon like Star Saber and the Brainmaster Cybertron trio, with some other characters like Jetfire, Sixshot, Overlord and an army of Vipers (the repaint of Combiner Wars Powerglide). Curiously, the “submarine mode” is shown here as another space ship. We can see Star Saber riding Greatshot in rhino mode, and Greatshot is also seen riding Star Saber in jet mode.
You can check out the mirrored images after the jump (only in Japanese) and then share your impressions at the 2005 Boards!
transform75
well, IDW did portrayed Greatshot in 1 scene (background character), while Sixshot was surely someplace else

If you're referring to Sixknight (Quickswitch wasn't in the Japanese G1 cartoon continuity), then no, because he doesn't share the same body or voice actor (if that's all the criteria we're using.)
Purple Heart
Considering how Galvatron and Megatron are the same person or two different beings depending on the universe the story takes place in, something like that would be possible. Greatshot is going on my shelf not even three feet away from Sixshot despite the fact their JG1 iterarions are now retconned(can it even be a retcon with Takara at this point?) as the same being.
Gamerlingual
Sounds valid, actually. Maybe it is possible and that’s the special transformers ninja power.
[Wing_Saber-X]
Dammit I kinda liked the previous theory that the 3 Six Changers are from the same ninjitsu clan and separate characters all together.
Gamerlingual
Oh I’m wondering if it’s possible is all.
[Wing_Saber-X]
huh, really?! pics or proof this being legit?
Gamerlingual
Would that apply for Quickswitch reincarnated as Sixshot as well?
[Wing_Saber-X]
Well, that settles it then?! Sixshot re-incarnation confirmed!

Here’s the translation link in case.

Thank you!
Mattymo
It’s always been a fan theory since victory due to them sharing the same body and voice actor.
BattleUpSaber
Holy shit, the "Greatshot is Sixshot in a new body" fan theory I made up when I was 10 years old is official canon!!??
What even is this
Fallout
looks like greatshot also used those swords to puncture my fucking heart

In the year 2022 of the G1 World, Marissa Faireborn is leading an Earth Defense Command force against the last holdout of the Concurrence when she\'s assisted by a mysterious starship. The Autobot First Army are similarly aided by a tank while battling on the surface on the moon, and by the end of the battle, they have collected reports of six of these mysterious Transformers appearing out of nowhere to help them. Star Saber, returning after being cleared of false charges, clears up that their benefactor is not six warriors, but one warrior with six modes: his friend Greatshot.Months earlier, Star Saber thanks Sixshot for breaking him out of jail by gifting him a new transtector, telling him to use it to take on the new identity \"Greatshot\" in order continue to fake his death and avoid the Six Clan\'s wrath. Sixshot accepts his offer and promises to join the Autobots in the future, but for now he remains in the Legends World to work with Giga on using Shinchōkon to resurrect Jack. As Overlord, Giga infuses Sixshot with the energy and explains that they will replicate the miracle of Megatron returning to life in a smaller body, but there is a caveat: this method of resurrection requires a body, so Sixshot will have to give his up for Jack to inhabit. The process succeeds and Jack comes back to life as a Headmaster while Sixshot\'s soul is instead transferred into the transtector, fully turning him into Greatshot. Remembering his evil deeds, particularly his role in Jack\'s death and yet how Chromedome was still willing to help him, Greatshot drives Jack to Chromedome and watches their tearful reunion. Since Greatshot still needs a head to function properly, Jack magnanimously decides to be his Headmaster partner and returns to the G1 World where the two are embroiled in the battle with the Concurrence.Greatshot is uninterested in helping the EDC, believing himself unsuited for being a hero, but Jack convinces him to see it as atonement, guilting him by reminding him he\'s talking to someone he murdered. He relents and travels to the battlefield, where he\'s reunited with Star Saber and allows him to ride his rhino mode into battle before borrowing his swords and using them to destroy the Concurrence\'s base. With the Concurrence defeated, Spike reclaims his spot as Galactic Peace Alliance chairman and Daniel and Bumblebee return safely as well. Greatshot eventually gets his own head and becomes a proper Transformer again, allowing Jack to return to Chromedome\'s side, and goes on to fight the Decepticons alongside Star Saber. In 2026, he is gravely injured during the Silvart War and again accepts his fate as atonement for his past, muttering goodbyes to Daniel, Star Saber and Jack as he awaits his death. To his surprise, however, those very people and many others suddenly come to his aid, having been looking for him since his disappearance. Slipping back into his old Sixshot speech pattern, Greatshot admits that having friends isn\'t so bad.
Deadend
The smallest one yeah. But I'm used to the inbetween one looking more like the MP between forms one. Which the size change threw me off when he was the same size as the others in the HQ. But the shoulders matching the full armored form makes sense now that you mention that "removing the helmet" aspect. Forgot about that. I'm used to Star Saber being near combined Liokaiser size as opposed to normal bot size.
Hoping they don't skimp on the various forms if he gets a generations figure. Because the transformation part is what also threw me off. Where it had the red torso piece looking like it was a decorative and the red jet doesn't disconnect at all, but then a later panel you see it embedded in the full jet form like it still can. Hopefully it's artistic license and not foreshadowing what the real one will be like. Though I do love that more compacted combined jet mode. Had a nice blend of energon Wingsaber to the vehicle mode while staying pure star saber. As long as the Generations version (if they make one!) has all 3 forms, that's exactly what it needs to be. Down to extra swords too and a TR cockpit. And maybe other TR seats if there is unused empty space like in the rear legs for ship cargo loading/apc ship type. But the hollow places to good use for a leader classed mold that matches Overlord/Sky Shadow/Greatshot/Sixshot's height.

Thanks for all the comic synopses. Hmm…synopsi.

I think yeah it’s jack. Sixshot’s titanmaster is based off him which is kind of weird considering he brain washed him.

Just quote it, copy it. Then go to your signature settings and paste it.

I hope we get translations of these comics soon. It's hard to tell what's going on.
Looks like Giga and damaged Sixshot Titanmaster dude are helping Star Saber do…something to Greatshot. Greatshot and Star Saber team up. They take turns riding each other and make me really wish there was a Generations Star Saber. From there it's really confusing because in one panel Greatshot has a big hole in him and in the next he's fine, and then he's hurt again, and then he's fine again.
BTW, I see you there, Powered Convoy/Delta Magnus. I'm surprised we never got a repaint of the Combiner Wars Ultra Magnus figure.
