Takara-Tomy have announced their next special prize campaign. Their Supreme Commander coaster gift campaign is set to offer coasters commemorating the five Japanese Generation 1 shows through a variety of outlets. Each coaster shows the respective Autobot supreme commander from the series, alongside (one of) the robots who transform into the leader. Each one is available with a purchase of 1,000 yen on Transformers merchandise at participating stores.
The five coasters are:
- Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers (Generation 1): Optimus Prime (First Convoy) & Orion Pax, available at Cybertron Satellite stores from 31 March 2018.
- Transformers 2010 (Generation 1 Season 3): Rodimus Prime & Hot Rod, available at Joshin Kids Land from 31 March 2018.
- The Headmasters: Fortress Maximus & Fortress (Cerebros), available at Takara-Tomy Mall, preorders opening 24 March and shipping 31 March 2018.
- Chojin Masterforce: God Ginrai & Godbomber, availability to be announced.
- Transformers Victory: Victory Saber & Victory Leo, availability to be announced.

Primus00
Wow all G1 Cybertron Supreme Commanders.
Afterburner
Damn I want these.
Deadend
I think it might! Granted each coaster is focused on a leader of each series, but it does also show that all the previous have been made, and Star Saber is the only one out of these that hasn't yet. So he's likely next within a few years.
DerVernichter
Does this imply we're likely to get Generations figures for Star Saber and Victory Leo? That'd be neat!
Also, while all this artwork looks great, Sakamoto's Fort Max looks a bit goofy, yelling at Cerebros like that. He's all like, "Get out of here, nerd, you're cramping my style!".
Sovietbot
Where`s Dai Atlas with Sonic Bomber from Zone?
UltraPrimal
Funny how all these characters have had recent Generations upgrades except for Star Saber.
Also, when I first saw these on Twitter, the first ones I saw were the Orion Pax/Optimus Prime and Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime ones. So I initially thought these were PotP related and I expected to see a Primal/Optimal one too. Sadly no. But he would be next in the liniage of Cybertron(Japanese Autobot, not the planet) leaders.

Same here. :/ I wouldn't mind mousepads with this art, it would be about the right shape!
Nemesis Otaku
Love the artwork, but kinda lame how they\'re for coasters.

Kazumasa is the same artist who has done the artwork for the last three MP cards:

My god that artwork is stunning
AmonDemon112
Just missing Dai Atlas and Star Convoy! but this is amazing all around!!! Love all this art. Don't care for coasters but I'll be glad to save all these images!
Deonasis
So we have new generations versions of all these leaders except Victory… it is obviously time to address this.
Gamerlingual
Yea. Buying these I see no benefit for. Other places sell the retail way cheaper. Just feel bad for the peeps who get it.
But many ebay or yahoo auctions could compensate for that

1/ Buy TFs, as before, from wherever you get them cheaper (Amazon, BBTS, etc).
2/ Download the images of these coasters from TFW2005.
3/ Go to a site like this ( Personalized Coasters ) and print your own coasters.
4/ Win-win.

Oh wow! These are really neat!
Novaburnhilde
The artwork on these is lovely.
CoktimusPrime
These coasters are neat. I'd be interested, shame it's through an elusive campaign.
WishfulThinking
Ummm….yay? I mean, the artwork isn't too shabby. But it seems a little too kitschy for me.
