Let the hunt begin! We have our first sightings of the highly expected Studio Series collection at US Retail.
Thanks to 2005 Boards member GiganGoji for sharing an image of Studio Series Deluxe Wave 1 toys that he found at Fred Meyer in Washington. The figures were sold for $24.99.
We have other report courtesy of speedie231 who found the Studio Series Deluxes for $26.99 and Voyagers for $36.99 at Dillons in Andover, Kansas. He was lucky to buy Voyager Starscream. If you live in Oregon, 2005 Boards member havokss22 could grab the Studio Series Deluxes at the Cornelius Pass Fred Meyer’s off Imbrie and saw them at the 217 Fred Meyer’s too.
Happy hunting for all US fans! It’s time to take a look at your local retail store to add more toys into your collection. Don’t forget to share where you find them at the 2005 Boards!

FINALLY, saw a couple Crowbars & one Bumblebee at a Target, & a price sticker for leaders, but NO leaders on the shelf.
And, FINALLY, my local Walmart also has the deluxes, WITH an official price sticker this time. Had 2 Crowbars, 2 Ratchets, and one Bumblebee, no Stingers. MAN these things are selling out fast!
Still have yet to see a single voyager in any store yet.

So color me puzzled/frustrated…
So about 2 weeks ago, I saw wave 1 deluxes at 2 Walmarts, but have yet to see ANY at my local Walmart. The pegs read "Deluxe Stryker TRA- $19.99" on all the pegs the deluxes were on. Found and bought Blackout at 1 out of the 3 Targets around here, but no deluxes at any of the Targets aside from that.
I check again just yesterday at one of the 2 Walmarts that had them, but now there all gone, & whats weirder, is the price tags are ALSO gone. Does this mean these are just one offs/limited editions/releases, or perhaps they pulled them from shelves & will re-stock them later today since its the supposed official April 20th release date?
Also, just in general, Walmart has lately been understocked with ANYTHING Transformers related, lots of empty pegs, especially with not selling TLK figures anymore, yet all the Targets are still well stocked on TLK figures?
I was under the assumption that we be overflowing with these things & I could wait till they go on clearance to get the other few that Im thinking about getting, now Im not so sure.
Oh well, Guess Ill find out this weekend when I go toy hunting again.

Saw some earlier this week in a Colorado Walmart an hour away from where I live, I decided to wait since they were $19.87 and I wanted the cheaper Walmart Deluxe price. But then I saw that Bee actually jumped up to $25 on Amazon(raised by Amazon), so yesterday I got Bee at a local Walmart for the lame $19.87 price. I hope the prices drop soon, I mean Blackout and Grimlock both drop to around $43 occasionally on Amazon, when they're not sold out.
Rodimus Prime
Saw them in the Target in MWC, Oklahoma today.

Freaking brickseek lied about my Walmart having the ss figures in stock

Picked up Stinger and Ratchet at the Walmart in Kennett Square, PA today. I left behind a Bumblebee and Crowbar.

I'm hoping my Meijer or Walmart stocks Bumblebee soon. I'm leaning towards picking him up, but I don't really like ordering online. Partially because I like to see how the figure looks through the packaging before spending $20 on it, sometimes pictures are hard to fully judge the toy by (I don't know if other people feel this way, or it's just me). Plus, it's funner to hunt for toys in stores! My display is kind of in need of a new Bee, the one I'm currently displaying is the 2007 concept Camaro. That's a great toy, but it's starting to get fragile.

I was surprised to see these pop up in an IL Walmart. But then again, these are MOVIE TOYS, guys. Hasbro prioritizes these.
You'll find these at Walmart LOOOOONG before the next (or current) PotP wave!
Ratchets Hatch
They're slowly but surely making their way east.

Yeah, but some people don't like to read and just post whatever.
MountainSound
That’s why I mentioned where I spotted them

Before anyone freaks out about prices, again this is at a different store than Wal-Mart or Target so this isn't the actual MSRP

View attachment 27942250 View attachment 27942249 I found Starscream, Prime, Crowbar, and Ratchet at my Smith’s Marketplace today! Sadly though they’re marked up by $5, hopefully I can find them at my Walmart, but I doubt it.

Can anyone provide the UPC for Starscream and Optimus? I might try my luck on BrickSeek. Nevermind I find them. Here they are for anyone else who might want them. Read they have a date of 4/20 for Target.

I'd think twice about coming down here due to how absolutely BORING it is in the sticks (obviously you were probably joking lol) The prices are good here though, no doubt. And there's NO sales tax too (New Hampshire law)! BUT, the distribution is spotty at best. We see 75% of a toyline (if it's even carried) at most. We only have 1 Walmart, 1 Kmart, & just this year Gamestop just started selling toys. NO ToysRUs in over 70 miles, & NO Target in almost 100 miles.
When I go to my dentist its in our only city of my actual state, Burlington VT. There IS sales tax there and the prices are much higher then Cali even sounds! ($31.99 voyager/$17.99 deluxe). Top it off the tax is just gaudy at a whopping 10%! It all makes a HUGE difference in cost.
Just to be clear & to leave no confusion, my state where I live HAS sales tax, but the only shopping district around is only 5 miles away & over the border. Thats where there is NO sales tax. Its over 70 miles to go to the next closest shopping district & that HAS sales tax..I'm on the border.
