Thank you. I appreciate the response.

In color, I like the art a lot. It feels like a modern style applied to the G1 box art aesthetic. Windblade's big chin and severe expression make her a little off, but everything else is great. Arcee is fantastic.
Meanwhile, that Takara art is 普通. Ho-hum nothing special.

Along with pics, yeah.
I've done some comics, some TF-related as well.

Madproject…. I think I've seen your name somewhere before. Do you draw comics?

Now that is more my type of boxart

I call 'em like I see 'em. There's a definite pattern in human behavior. At any rate, while I don't think the line art as presented is the "best", I don't particularly see many of the derogatory things people are saying about it. It's line art done by a guy that knows things are going to get colored. As a result, the lines need to be clear and bold, so the colorist knows where certain facial features are. In nature, things like skin tone, complexion, lighting, etc. contribute to how we see a face.
Stomping around and saying that the line art makes the characters appear like men in drag is like complaining that a house is gonna be drafty when they haven't installed the insulation yet. At the end of the day, the guy probably used the toys, comics, and the concept of "warrior women" to get his art done. You're going to get strong features and bold colors.
The funny part is that when TT did their ladies, a lot of people complained about their box art, too:
Can't win for trying, eh?

You could replace "Windblade" with "Rey" and not have to change too much of your post.
MadProject
I like more when fembots are drawn more \"cute\", with maaaaybe a bit of fanservice.
But it\'s probably because I\'m a NSFW artist to begin with.

So far, he's just showing the art. I am not sure if he's allowed to sell it. You may contact him via his facebook fan page. This may be our last round up since he stopped sharing more Transformers related art a week ago.

There's a lot of reasons people don't like Windblade. Whether they're legitimate depends on your leanings.
First, there's a small but very loud group of people that don't think there should be any girl transformers ever. The reasons why vary. Some believe that transformers are genderless or monogender. Some people think that there's no purpose for female transformers because they don't sexually reproduce, some people knee-jerk hate them because of what female transformers can represent (i.e. gender politics discussions) and finally there's good old fashioned woman-hate.
There's also people that dislike her because of her design. She's clearly influenced by "Japan" and/or other Asian influences. It's with some irony that some people have an issue with that. Like with Drift, some people feel it's pandering to weird Japanophilic individuals, leading to the occasional shriek of "Weeaboo" or whatever slur du jour we're picking to describe that social subgroup today.
Some people don't like her because she's the product of corporate shilling. Again, without an iota of recognition of the inherent hypocrisy in being a fan of a franchise devoted entirely to selling toys to children, some people hate Windblade because she was "forced down our throats". In that grouping, there are people that feel the voting behind her was "rigged" and that the voting behind her was a sham and that Hasbro/Takara had already chosen the design. As a result, Windblade represents a sham process to them. It's true Windblade has been nearly omnipresent in recent lines and/or marketing material and the saying is that "familiarity breeds contempt".
Others don't like her for more esoteric reasons. Her portrayal in the comics and cartoons are largely inconsistent. In the Combiner Wars series, she was horribly voiced and flatly written. In RiD15, some people called her a "Mary Sue", some for thought out reasons and some because that's the word they use for a character they don't like doing anything save for laying down and dying quietly. In the comics, some have called her a ditz, a moron, a magic pixie dream girl, and/or got angry that she didn't turn out to be the strong warrior woman that she presented as in her first appearance in Transformers: MTMTE/Lost Light.
Some don't like her because they feel she takes up a slot in the production line. "WHY ARE THEY MAKING A WINDBLADE WHEN THEY HAVEN'T MADE [My favorite character here]!?" Is the occasional complaint.
I'm sure there are more, but those seem to be the big ones I've noticed. Frankly, I like her, I like her design, and I was a fan of her portrayal by Marghraid Scott and her initial artwork by Sarah Stone. Granted, I haven't read anything since a little after MTMTE became Lost Light, so maybe I would have a reason to dislike her now.
Of course, these aren't exclusive. I'm sure there are people that have more that one hang up regarding Windblade.
Ultimately, it's a fandom. There's a big chunk of us that hate to deal with anything that might sully what we may believe is already "perfect". Whether it's due to nostalgia, dislike of a certain concept, or good old fashion neckbeard-smelly-comic-guy-Gyro-Robo-Hour jackassery, there's always gonna be a group of people that hate the "new thing" because how dare it exist? Everything should stay the same forever and ever, or only change in a way I want it to change because I'm amazing.
Toolala
I don't read the comics so I don't really know how she is in them except for some contextless panels, I just enjoy to meme on her because it usually ruffles people's feathers.
diablogunner
Why does Windblade get so much hate? She was the fan vote winner and the design is pretty cool. Almost a female Drift with the samurai or geisha feel. Also, until IDW beefed up her backstory and made her mean and crazy, Arcee was pretty much a token character to get girls into Transformers. This is just my opinion now, not the gospel of fembots before the explosions of G1 for life start…
Toolala
That is a pretty good assessment of her personality.
TCJJ
Hey now, I love Windblade. She's just so… Windblade-y. She's really special. Because she's Windblade. You know what I really like about her? She's Windblade. What's her personality, you ask? Windblade is the answer. Her political stance? Windblade. Who does she like? Windblade. Who is her idol? Windblade.
Oh wait, I just remembered…
I fucking hate Windblade.
Toolala
You thought you were going to get a decent fan made character, but it was me! Windblade!
TCJJ
No idea then. The lips and the expressions just give me that vibe.
NanakoPreame
Depends on what part art style you're talking about, since each part has it's own artstyle.
TCJJ
Oh man, they all have faces like they're constipated or something like that.
Actually, they almost remind me of Jojo characters (and not in a good way. Also no I've never watched the show but whatever).
How many are actually repaints though? Only one or two. She's got way too many new moulds.

Devastator? Sold as exclusive at the same time
RobotKnight95
Gonna be honest Arcee is the only one that looks decent. Also whose face is that on her sword
