Though the toy in this news post directly relate to Avengers: Infinity War, we now have our first possible look at the gimmick featured on the upcoming Bumblebee: The Movie Bee Vision Mask.
“ToyFair is this weekend, but Hasbro gave us an early look at Marvel Hero Vision, a new line of augmented reality toys. It’s an Iron Man helmet with a phone holder that lets you fight the forces of Thanos invading your living room.
The Iron Man Hero Vision mask is basically an ordinary Iron Man helmet with a removable sleeve for your phone, similar to Google Cardboard, Google Daydream View, or the Samsung Gear VR. You put the phone in the sleeve, put the sleeve in the mask, and then stare at the screen as your phone’s camera pipes in your surroundings with a JARVIS-like vignette around your view. You then slip on a hand blaster covered in AR tags, and the Hero Vision software tracks where it is, rendering Iron Man’s gauntlet over it.”
The post on Geek.com denotes that Hasbro will reveal other such Hero Vision masks at the New York Toy Fair 2018 and we know very well that Bee Vision Mask is one of them, for the mask is listed on certain regions as Bumblebee Hero Vision Mask. The trademark was first discovered by TFW2005 via United States Patent and Trademark Office.
This also confirms another information TFW2005 received from a journalist who attended London and Nuremberg Toy Fairs this year. According to the info, this Hero Vision Mask Series is part of Hasbro’s Phygital Initiative where physical toys utilize a play-pattern with digital entities such as smartphones and apps.
Each set is priced at $50. Check out several images from this cool new toy, after the jump.

How will it ruin their eyesight?
VortexPrime
well scrap that now, they just reveal a bunch of SW stuff, still no official reveal for Transformers stuff and a I just realized that technically Studio Series is a Toy Fair surprise reveal when we know about it since before Hascon last year LOL!

If I\'m a parent, I will most certainly not buy this for my kids.would not want to spoil their eye sight at such young age..
Angry Camaro
good luck

Remember when a 4chan liar claimed toys-to-life was the gimmick for the yet-unrevealed third part of the Prime Wars trilogy? Well, looks like he was onto something, by pure coincidence of course.
Jazz210
I dont know which is worse…these vr helmets or bumblebee movie figures…likely these as my kid got a vr mask for xmas, used it a few times and has since chunked it to the island of misfit toys
primalxconvoy
I foresee parents not getting these. They will worry their kids will run around wearing THEIR phones in front of their faces, and then fall over, damaging both their expensive phones, and possibly blinding their priceless kids.
Porkulus
"Phygital" sounds like a d i s e a s e
VortexPrime
well of course they are, this is probably overpriced for what it is and I don't think it's all that healthy for the eyes to be honest, but it's a cool gimmick to try at least.

There not really that realistic I see videos of this all you have is floating hand not attached to anything just floating hand you don’t see arms nothing vr is nice for games but you need move whole head up down left right to play it same with argumented reality except you see targets where ever you decide play it in bedroom, bathroom basement

These gimmicks are often the next Pogs (meaning an attempt that fails to catch on and then dries up quickly) and I have little doubt this won't catch on. But hey, rather than be a Debbie Downer I'll just say… cool I guess?
Spyne98
My 1st reaction was "Why does Bumblebee look like Iron Man?"
Then I read the article. It looks interesting. Not for me, but I could see my nephew really liking this.
VortexPrime
Cool gimmick, Hasbro is on a roll with Marvel stuff, either they have a TON of stuff at Toy Fair, or they are just revealing everything before it…
For Transformers though… we have to rely on the leaks lol.
Star Wars is even worse…
Prime Wylde
See this is cool. As a kid i'd have eaten this up. Beats them just staring into the damned thing.
Lazerwave
Hey, Does this thing print prizes? lol
I remember from a cartoon a long time ago that a kid was playing a Virtual Reality Game by shooting Tooters and Teachers. At the end, the helmet printed him a prize, a Free Hall Pass.
Seth Sunthay
Seems like a cool gimmick.
Lazerwave
You know, I've always wondered if Virtual Reality Games would be realistic.
Nemesis Otaku
Interesting, not quite my tempo, but interesting nonetheless.
